i choosed pda2 because i needed a fast processor to get work done, and i'm really enjoying this feature, with this fast processor u can make work as easy as on ur pc.
however i felt normal windows problems like in the pc, program craches, freezes, and a little bit of a battery problem.
however all of these problems are okay when it works well and make u enjoy it.
overall, this pda is great, but don't expect it to be perfect :-)
to put it simple, pda2 is the pda for you if your looking for faster performance, more space and for someone who sits 24/7 in the house because what i know is that the faster the processor the faster it drains power outta the battery, they have to do something about this, coz im sick of carrying my charger everywhere i go, i leave for charge over night and the next day i wake up listen to a music for 10 minutes and it indicates the battery life from 100percent to 85percent, damn more processing speed less battery life.
I have problem with my pda2 i want to connect it with awireless lan but i cann't and i do all the steps as it shown in the manual it see the lan site but it don't go outside the access point i don't know why please any one know how to connect it wireless right or the solution of this problem send it to my mail and thanks
i have had this device for about a month after considerable research, and having used and discarded( currently trying to ebay )an i-mate jasjar, i-mate jam 128mb version, ipaq 6515, verizon 6600.
for me as a doctor my needs are a stable os (wm 5.0 is very UNSTABLE), plenty of on board ram to load 3rd party software, decent camera, wifi, good screen, speakerphone, regular sd slot, relatively small and lightweight......and at this point i went back to wm 2003 se because of the aforementioned, and it has delivered in excellent fashion.
until a form factor such as the jasjar comes out with a verifiable stable os , i hope to keep this solid, reliable pda-phone.
Why doesnt mp3 ringtone play as my phone ringer? I have to convert mp3 files to midi then only i can keep it as my ringtone.
i have this smartphone since 6 months ago.. for me ..this phone is good and very fast processor, and i can download many games and many software inside. But the problem is it only have internal keyboard... i want external keyboard and it is such a big hp..... but in Saudi..not many choices of smartphone... hopefully i can get O2 or HP when i go back to Malaysia... i miss malaysia so much...
its crap, plain & simple. why? 'cause it has a higher pocessor & higher RAM than PDA2K, but the op sys is 2003 ! Also, wi-fi is not as good as PDA2K. it hangs up pretty much often, esp after games. take my advice - go for something much smarter like DUPOD or something for less than half he price. HP / Treo is also better.
I am planning to buy PDA2 the next few days. Can someone provide me with more information in terms of stability, processing time, and functions of this PDA? (some info that go beyond specifications pls.)
Hello everybody, I have a PDA2 device and I'm satisfied. the only problem I faced was that the screen stopped responding and I could not tap on the screen. a local technician could solve the problem in 5 minutes but never told me how he could do that. the same problem happened a week later and everyone told me that the device must be sent to service center, but again the technician could solve the problem. I believe he must do sth with bottoms and softwares. can anybody advise how the problem is solved? Regards, Pouria
You need a supersonic concorde of all PDAs ??? PDA2 is the answer. I am using it for the last couple of months. I have also experienced JAM, KJAM, PDA2k and Black JAM since my friends and brother have these. But nothing can touch PDA2 power. Camera is typical Imate nonsense, all rest if fine.
hello guys, i would like to know f theres a way to have a powerpoint viewer on this set, id relly appreciate it, thanks
hi sandracoon, i have a pda2 but i dont know how to set mp3 files as ringtones buecause it seem to only take .mid and .wav files as ringtones, could you please instruct me on hot to set mp3 files as ringtones? thank you man
pda2 can support mp3 ringtones just dont install a 3rd party mp3 playing software pda 2 is cool not that cool but cool enough powerful device if you can maximize it
Well, since i've bought this mobile, I'm head over heels in love with this PPC/Mobile. Man, it has every thing that you would want. I love and enjoy a lot when I use my Broadband internet on my PDA through Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network). And with 3rd party plugins and tools, you can make it greater than anything. And IMO, if you are willing to buy a PDA/PPC, just go for it...
I bought it in Lahore, Pakistan for Rs. 35,000 (5100 USD), oh and it's a used one :( That's the only drawback....
How is the quality of mp3 playback and is it loud or not??and I wanna see the pics taken by this ppc(send link),Plz help.thanx
