The Indian Government has added 43 more Chinese apps to its growing list of banned applications. Among these is the official mobile app for shopping platform Aliexpress as well as several Alibaba group apps, TV apps WeTV and MangoTV as well as a few dating apps and games.
Like before, the new apps are blocked under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and are flagged as prejudicial to the sovereignty, security and integrity of India. The new additions bring the total number of blocked Chinese apps in India to 267.

The previous list of blocked Chinese apps in India included 118 apps in total with PUBG Mobile being the headline. PUBG Mobile is slated to make a comeback to the Indian market soon but it remains to be seen if any of the other blocked apps have similar intentions.
