Nitrofox, 30 Mar 2025Oh the battery is ASS I got this phone exactly one year ago, and I can proudly say, since d... moreChinese people who make stupid phone's and call them Infinix hot 40...that are all very stupid.....I'm typing from one now....and even my keyboard is lagging....too forever before the keyboard showed up..... imagine...I bought the phone, and saw a video of some Chinese guy, while they were packaging the phone...8gb ram?...I swear...my first phone.... Infinix hot3, 1gb ram, isn't this slow.

Oh the battery is ASS
I got this phone exactly one year ago, and I can proudly say, since day ONE that I can't go a whole day of normal use without charging at least twice or in some cases, three times
Not heavy gaming, not heavy video watches, just normal, Internet scrolling on the LOWEST brightness and mobile data use
It's gaming and chipset capacities are MID and the phone can't handle the notification bar when in landscape mode, because pulling it down would warrant the phone struggling to stay on and function
without heavy lag 50% of the time
The only props I can give it is its storage, and the fact that long sessions of gaming doesn't drain the battery faster than normal use, and the battery can charge fairly quickly, usually over 2 hours
Oh and I don't know if it's just me, but the battery saver (not power boost, that's the fake battery saver) drains the battery even FASTER 💀, and even not in use both battery saver and normal, my phone can drop down from 90 percent, to 50 percent in 3-4 hours of non usage which is terrible for any battery
I'm saying all this as a former user of a GOOD battery phone, this phone would have been a good 6 or 5\10 if not for the abysmal battery quality, it feels like a slightly better iPhone battery but without the security or smoothness of it, I need to be able to rely on a good battery, especially when I live in a place where electricity is scarce

It's been 1 year now since I bought this phone (specifically 30th of December) and so far it's good.
When it comes to gaming though I recommend just going in medium graphics because it can't take high and I've been able to play properly atleast.
But for everything else like social media, it's also good, it doesn't lag much even 90hz, although it will lag sometimes if you multitask when gaming and using social media at the same time but I still can play behind all that.
Is it worth it? Yes, atleast for me because I bought this with a big discount during Christmas sale through their official online store and I desperately need a new phone around that time and my old 16gb Samsung A01 core isn't doing me any justice in gaming (let alone social media) and also because this was the cheapest yet most optimized budget phone that I've found as a student with no job.
So in the end I'd say this was worth the spending.

Please guys I want to get either Hot 40 or Hot 50i. But i'm confused, i need your honest opinion on which is preferrable on a scale of 1/10. In terms of camera, battery, smoothness & storage.

I have been using this phone for nearly a year now, and I'll say it's actually great (for me atleast). As for gaming it sometimes depends on the game and I usually play in medium graphics only because it can experience lag and fps drops when playing in high graphics, as for other things like social media it's great too. One of the best features is how I can multitask like I can watch videos and play games at the same time (with surprisingly no problems probably because I play in medium graphics). Another thing is the High storage, I can even adjust the Ram from 8 to 16 at the cost of only like not 10% of the 256 Gb it has. Although one bad thing about is overusing it too much causing it to lag, and my solution to this is to restart the phone and not use it for a few minutes and it will function again normally. So overall not a bad because that I bought online from the official store with a big discount, it was actually the cheapest phone I can buy around that time as a student with no job (although the pro version of it which is honestly much more suited for gaming came out a few days later and was the same price but it was already too late because I already ordered this one).
