Infinix Android Announcement

Infinix just launched on its website three new phones - say hello to the Note 30, Note 30 5G, and Note 30 Pro. All three are advertised with Infinix’s All-Round FastCharge technology, bringing high-rate charging, both wired and wireless, to the family.

Pricing was not detailed, but Infinix confirmed all three phones will cost under $300, while the cheapest of them - the Note 30 will be just $230.

Infinix Note 30

The vanilla version of the series comes with a Helio G99 chipset and 8 GB RAM. The screen on the front is a 6.78” LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and a punch hole for the 16 MP selfie camera.

The back comes with a 64 MP main camera with OmniVision OV64B sensor and an f/1.7 aperture of the 6P lens in front. Alongside it are a 2MP and AI Cam of unknown resolution, but odds are neither of those contributes much.

The key selling point of the Infinix Note 30 is the 45W charging for the 5,000 mAh battery. Infinix promised it was tested for 1,000 cycles, which is 25% over the typical amount in the industry. The smartphone also offers reverse wired charging, and the whole technology supports PD 3.0.

Infinix Note 30 is a smartphone that has dual speakers, developed by JBL. Other neat specs include Android 13 out of the box, NFC, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a tray for a micro SD card.

The Note 30 comes in three colors - Magic Black, Interstellar Blue, and Sunset Gold which is orange with golden accents. Users can pick one of two memory options - 128 GB or 256 GB.

Infinix Note 30 5G

The Infinix Note 30 5G comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chipset and same screen as the LTE variant - a 6.78” LCD with 120 Hz refresh rate. Storage options are also the same, but here RAM is either 4 GB or 8 GB.

Infinix changed only one camera from the non-5G version - the main one. The Note 30 5G has a 108 MP ISOCELL HM6 sensor by Samsung with f/1.75 aperture in front. The 2 MP and AI Cam combo is retained and the selfie shooter inside the punch hole still has a 16 MP sensor. The overall camera design is different, with the two auxiliary cameras mounted on the same circle.

The battery capacity is again 5,000 mAh with 45W charging, but here the charging is done at 10V/4.5A, which suggests a different architecture to the Note 30, which charges at 9V/5A.

Other highlights include NFC, FM Radio, and JBL dual speakers. Color options are once again Blue, Black, and Sunset Gold, which is actually orange with golden elements.

Infinix Note 30 Pro

The Infinix Note 30 Pro is the highest standing of the trio, despite the fact it is LTE-only with a Helio G99 chipset. It comes with 68W charging, reverse charging and even wireless and reverse wireless, which is a first in the price segment according to the company.

The screen is upgraded to an AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate.

The smartphone has a 108 MP main camera, which doesn’t sound like an improvement, but the selfie cam has a 32 MP sensor, and there is a front-facing flash too. Infinix equipped the Note 30 Pro with a vapor chamber for cooling, which includes 10 layers of cooling material to reach a total area of 2,000 sq.mm.

I won't say that iPhone has bad camera. But tbh non-Pro iPhone (especially the Mini one, with iPhone 14 Plus as the exception) has a bad battery life in my experience since Day 1.

there was an actual note phone made by infinix. the note 6, which it has stylus inside. though it was powered with p35 chipset but it is sure a beast when it was released at the time. unfortunately, the successor does not include them anymore.
