About the fingerprint issue it’s a software problem. Next update should be able to fix that.

I don't know anything about your own phone
I updated mine early this month ....since then the fingerprint options has not been showing and I don't know the reason why.

I'm using this phone currently and the only problem is selfie camera. Some people also complain about fingerprint but mine is good and working. It is good general performance.
