If u have a motorcycle from 10 years ago, u still can run it exactly the same speed with a new same motorcycle. I'm a technician and IT consultant, i have already tested almost every machine. Tell me, how is the same component will decrease it speed gradually? It will not, it is not a "road" that will decrease when u use it often, u're not even touching the hardware when u use the phone, and it is sealed so almost every dust can't reach it in the phone. Apple itself said "a phone speed was 95% was from software optimization", try redmi note 9 miui 11, it is so slowed, but when it is updated to miui 12, it is much faster (u can check gaming performance on miui 11 and 12 from youtube if u dont have the device).
Why the phone feel a little slowed after years? It is because everytime
