Apple iOS macOS iPadOS WatchOS Rumors

According to a reputable tipster on Apple-related stuff, the company is going to unveil the iPhone 12 family on September 8 and the Apple Watch Series 6 will tag along as well. Additionally, the leakster suggests that new iPad Pro, the rumored Apple Glass and MacBooks with Apple's in-house chips will make an appearance on October 27.

iPhone 12 launch date revealed, Macs with Apple chips coming in October

Although nothing is confirmed, we tend to believe the rumor given Apple's choice of dates in the past. Last year, the iPhone 11 family came to be on September 10, Tuesday and this year's September 8 is on Tuesday as well. Apple likes to keep things on schedule. Moreover, the report suggests that a new iPad and the long-awaited AirPower charging pad for iPhones and AirPods will finally hit the streets. Of course, the event will be online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On October 27, we will likely see new MacBook and MacBook Pro 13, both powered by Apple's silicon alongside the rumored Apple Glass project and a refresh of the iPad Pro.

The given dates are in line with what other rumors have suggested in the past so we can say that the current leak is plausible, to say the least.

Every 5G flagship so far has cost significantly more than its predecessor, AFAIK. Just hoping it won't be a major price bump so I can finally get something smaller.

The rumors about this were already out when the early 2020 Pros arrived - talk of how they wanted to get LIDAR in the hands of devs as soon as possible to be ready for the phone releases to come, and another model was already in the works.
