Is the LG E906 the WP7 Mango refresh of the Optimus 7?

LG Windows Phone Touch UI Rumors

Some observant users have stumbled upon the official LG XML profile of an unannounced Windows Phone 7 device - the E906. This is most probably an E900 Optimus 7 refresh with Windows Phone 7 Mango.

The XML profile of E906 is almost the same as the one of the E900 Optimus 7, but there are two differences - the model number and the browser version (E900 has IE7, while E906 is with IE9).

Judging by the very small difference in the model names and the XML files we believe it is highly possible the E906 will be just an Optimus 7 refresh running on the latest Windows Phone 7 Mango update.

But the E906 might turn to be a completely new device as well. We guess we'll see about that around the WP7 Mango launch this Fall.
