Apple iOS Rumors

In the latest edition of iPhone 15 rumors, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims Apple will bring solid-state power and volume buttons to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The new buttons will function like the Touch ID sensor introduced on the iPhone 7 and still used today on the iPhone SE (2022) thanks to two additional Taptic Engines on the left and right sides of the frame.

The solid-state buttons will not sink in physically and will instead offer haptic feedback to confirm presses. These new buttons are only rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max/Ultra while the regular iPhone 15 models are expected to retain their pedestrian click buttons. Lastly, Kuo expects Android makers to also follow in Apple’s approach with their premium phones also adopting solid-state buttons.

I'm not sure how this will work in practice. Seems that Apple may implement FaceID along with touch controls to advert anyone accidentally pressing the volume rockers on accident. I don't see the practicality unless they'd serve anothe...

Most phones are splash resistant nowadays. If people are still nervous about their phone getting damaged, use case. Had a phone with a broken sim tray before and I didn't have any problems using it near the sink and shower with the case on but o...
