hlo gsma and friends, how much time it takes to install updates. does it take more than 2 hours? software download was 30% completed when it was stopped and then I clicked continue over 30%, then phone turned off suddenly and when I switched it on... I got a recovery/boot/restore option menu. Then it begin installing update. Is it normal for phones to install partially downloaded update like windows... The Lava Iris X8 is no doubt a very good phone with stylish looks and powerful specs. The hardware on the phone is capable of running Android Lollipop 5.1 but itÂ’s still not launched. Well it does take some time to modify the update to match LavaÂ’s specs, so letÂ’s not get impatient guys!
I donÂ’t why people are making such a fuss about the Lollipop update for the Lava Iris X8. The phone currently runs on Android KitKat 4.4 which despite of being old is still quite a good OS. Lava will surely launch the update soon, as it takes some time to mould the Lollipop update according to their specs. Be patient guys as IÂ’m pretty sure the update is on its way!
IÂ’ve been a Lava fan for quite some time simply because of the fact that they offer the best in class performance and specs without draining my wallet. Right now IÂ’m using the Lava Iris X8 and I must say that the phone is very well built and also feels very sturdy. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4, but is also upgradable to Lollipop 5.1 and is only a matter of time till Lava rolls out the update for this phone.
The Key pad is an issue u need to touch at specific position to get the desired result, headset one side was not working after few DAYS, and most important the promised lollypop update is still no where after nearly 8-9 months and nothing from company side, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.....
Got update. Running smooth but can't root it... Please anyone help me
