Lava Headphones Announcement

Lava introduced new TWS buds, the Probuds T24, which is slightly pricier than the recent T31, but offers longer battery life. The buds are now available in India on Lava’s online store and should start appearing in select retail stores tomorrow.

The Lava Probuds T24 are priced at ₹1,300 (around $15) and promise an impressive play time of up to 45 hours. This is the total of the buds and charging case, which has a 470mAh battery. The buds on their own can last around 8 hours. Quick charging is supported, so 10 minutes of charging equal 2.5 hours of play time.

The buds feature 10mm drivers and the polyurethane diaphragms have been optimized to pump out more bass. There’s no ANC, but the buds do support noise cancellation for voice calls.

While these are quite cheap as far as TWS buds go, they still offer some premium features. For one, they have dual device pairing, so you can use them with your phone and laptop and switch seamlessly between them.

The T24 also have a gaming mode, which drops the latency of their Bluetooth 5.4 connection to just 35ms. Naturally, they are compatible with voice assistants and can summon Google or Siri.

The buds and case are available in several “trippy” colorways: Venom Black, Snake White, Trippy Macaw, Dope Blue and Herb Green. However, only the first two are showing as available on the Lava online store at the moment.

35ms "low-latency" my ass Otherwise extremely good for the price, assuming you care about wireless earbuds. I don't, but I can at least recognise that it's good value for money.
