Leaked HTC T8290 to sport WiMAX support along with GSM

As it seems HTC are prepping a WiMAX/GSM-enabled device - the HTC T8290 - to allow even more flexible wireless internet access. The new device is supposedly almost official as it has been presented at the WiMax World Conference in Chicago.

The HTC T8290 pictured on these images is obviously made for the Russian WiMAX operator Yota. Having a portable WiMAX device seems even cooler in regions that have no 3G support - such as Russia in this case.
