i am using this phone for a year..prettyvgood for light usage ..its still working smooth...
good for new users...but dont buy this as it is 3g ...if you want cheap phone go for it ...

i would advise u to completely avoid this phone i have it for 1,5 years and im sick and tired
of constant wifi connection problems,lag in games, potato camera quality

Cons:
Sometimes, phone does not ring when a call is received, after switching from vibrate/silent mode. Fixed by restarting device.
WiFi signal reception is weak ~10m away from router.
Camera picture quality is poor, unless you have ideal bright light.
Device heats up after ~20 minutes of WiFi usage
Back cover is a little hard to remove.
Cant use Instagram, etc. for > 10 minutes; screen freezes.
Pros:
Sturdy phone - survived some falls, with just a single crack on the side.
Battery lasts ~3 days of light use, once I switched to Nokia Z launcher.
Call quality is alright, mostly.

I just bought last 4/1/17 a lenovo a1000. at first i experienced that the battery is discharging fast. by setting off the background operation of the softwares running i managed to prolong the battery life. i do not use it for games, just for text and call and listening to mp3 music from the external micro sd card. i do not need internet on it as i still use my pc. so i put off google services and almost all programs. now i am a happy user of lenovo a1000.
