It could not install instagram from play store maybe because it does not have front cam... But if u search n found the *.apk file and install it from file manager, it should work

Every time I restart the phone, phone ringtone always back to "salt water".
But overall, I like this phone... Great for playing 3D games, and got 10k+ score in antutu benchmark.
It just the camera and no A-GPS that make this phone cheap I guess.

I have faced the similar kind of issue while playing games, all I did is i have put my games in memory card and restarted the phone once and now its working fine. Please try this and let me know if it worked for you.

Skype i suppose its not there by default, you need to install it, and if installing, install that in memory card becuase sometimes that hangs.
