NicoW, 24 Dec 2014This a tablet, not a phone. So you cannot make a call. You have to Skype. In this tablet we have the option to make both Voice/Video call.

I can't seem to be able to make and receive calls. Pls help me in this regard. Bought is yesterday and m hoping I don't regret. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Now I have tow choices:
Lenovo A8-50 (16 GB) and Huawei MediaPad T1 8 GB.
They have many similar specifications and price, both 8 inch, but I think battery in Huawei better.
So Lenovo or Huawei?

Apparently there re two models for A8-A5500 pad one is with MTK 8382 the other is MTK6582 because that is what is on the Lenovo.ru Forum versions.(6582)unlike ours which is 8382. or am I wrong?? Becoz in the build.prop for the A8-5500 on Russia is stated that the MTK version is 6582. So we cannot use the ROM from russian version anybody knows where to download the 8382 version 4.4.2 for HV type version???
