I have tried to use GPS on my 3G a_5500 and have discovered that it isn't in the machine. As the specification states that it is should I ask for a price reduction from theshop or a refund from lenovo.
To qualify my statement this is the second aas_5500 that I have had the 1st developed a fault which caused the screen to jump erraticly into other applications when it was connected to the power supply so I returned it to the shop and it was replaced with this one. This one has also started to do the same. I think the cables are inadequate.
I have two hardware test apps which can show the GPS status and neither of them show it as existing or being active.
I cannot get it to work in the map apps either.

i recently bought a Lenovo A5500-F 8" tablet and it was working great. But few hours ago i noticed that on one edge of the screen acts a bit weird than the other's if i have the tablet in landscape i have to touch above the home button/back button/recent apps button to actually press it and when i touch those buttons it wont work at all. What i have done is put on the developer tools on the tablet and put show touches so i see whats going on and what i notice is that when i touch the 3 buttons where im supposed to the touch actually appears right on the edge of the screen no where near my finger???
This is not due to system updates since it was doing it before the system updates.
Nothing too major but it gets annoying sometimes when i repeatedly tap the home button .ect nothing works.??
any idea what the problem could be?

I sold my Galaxy Tab2 for Lenovo A8-50-A5500 surprisingly rocks the world!Upgradable to KitKat, smoothly runs & responsive. OTG is what i liked with this tablet PC, definitely like PC. Antutu Benchmark scores 17386. Slim & lightweight. Awesome!

there are 2 HW version, wifi version and 3G version.
3G version supports voice call function.
