The 3G version of this tablet can't make regular calls, but it can make calls via skype or viber...
I have one of these units, it IS NOT capable of making phone calls. The Only 10" tablet that I know of that has GM features is the Padfone

Which means a USB hub with power adapter that provides 500mA power to each port. Using passive hub (without power adapter) drains high ampere from device's usb-port & thus causing troubles.
