I summarize the issues faced since i purchase lenovo K3 note 27.10.2015 (order ref.OD204195281xxxxxxxx through flipkart during its launch time). The IMEI no. of the mobile is 86841602xxxxxxx and warranty is applicable untill 26.10.2016 as per warranty terms and conditions.
After use of 5 months, my display on the right side part is completely stalled which means the icons in the right side querter are not touch sensitive including the back button. So i sent emails and visited HCL Technologies, Mount Road, the authorized service center for lenovo smart phone for warranty service during the month of May 2016. However the HCL service agent did not accept my phone under warranty since they observe that the steel attachment in the memory card port was found slightly detached. I am sure that this is not a damage and its only detachment happened when i was removing the memory card for handing over the phone to HCL service agent. Despite my arguments they quoted reason on lenovo that even a minute damage on the mobile phone will be enough for rejecting the warranty service.
So, i visited another service center i.e. AP Technologies in Egmore Chennai, and they inspected and informed that they observe a minute damage on the bottom of display (this time another reason) and hence they cannot accept my phone under warranty repair and i need to pay Rs.3500 +tax for replacing the display/touch screen of my smart phone. I also observe that a lady was arguing with the service center persons since they were asking Rs.400 for repair of her lenovo smart phone which is also under warranty (less than 3 months use)
Subsequently i wrote an email (refer trailing email) to support.lenovo under interaction id.22235xxxx and i was asked to visit the authorized service center again and call customer care support.
So, i visited the authorized service center AP Technologies yesterday evening, and called customer care support under call reference. 222542xxx The customer care officer spoke to the service center persons and asked them to send pictures of my mobile phone damage location. Subsequently the service center persons have taken photographs and sent to email ids: firstname.lastname@example.org & email@example.com.
Today i called the lenovo customer care support again under call reference.22256xxxx and i was again asked to visit the service center again for taking picture of the "so called external damage" location since they have not received any emails attaching my phones damage locations.
Please note that i have already spent lot of time talking with customer care & visiting three times the authorized service centers amidst my busy schedule but lenovo or authorized service centers are least bother about my pains.
From the above it is very clear that lenovo or their authorized service centers are not willing to respect and support customers post purchase of their products at free of cost even though they are liable for it during the warranty period. For any products of even 2-3 months of use easily anyone can find some "willful reasons" for rejecting the warranty terms. I never had this kind experience with other brand products in my past life.
The bottom line is do not buy any lenovo product they find reason to skip warranty service. For sure you will end up with problem within warranty because of poor quality of the product.

I have recently upgraded my phone to latest version 6.0 , but facing problem regarding battery charging. first of all it takes about 8hrs. for complete charging, from some days indicator showing continue charging but charging % not going above 40% even after continuous charging up to 12hrs.More over battery is also heating up.now pl. any one suggest me what to do so that I may use my phone fully. MAY I seek some help from lennoveo service centre.
