Why Chinese companies sealing & closing access to battery ? Having removable battery is a bad idea ! ??

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2017By the hardware stats yes. Not by GPL compliance and help for OEMs though. Unfortunately until... moreMaybe you can talk about FRAND and Qualcomm...
And how nearly all competitors left the smartphone's market (NVIDIA, Intel, broadcom, Texas instruments, st-microelectronics...)
Nearly no Exynos outside a Samsung device
No kirin outsider a Huawei devices
Strange isn't it?
Qualcomm's patents fee are based on device's price...the higher it cost, the higher manufacturers pay for patents...(that's why Apple is unhappy!)
You use Mediatek, you still have to pay patent to Qualcomm.
Apple use Intel's Lte modem, they still have to pay patents to Qualcomm.
80% of Qualcomm's benefits are made on patents, not on soc !
This patents raise the price...
That's why it's hard top find a devices with Mediatek over 250dollars...
No flagship, few famous brands (sometime Sony or Lenovo) lead to lack of sources...
It's oems that must release sources, not mediatek...devices sources include things that don't belong to Mediatek (cameras, screen, touch panel, gyroscope...)
Sony or Lenovo (on devices that are sold un Europe At least)) do it.
Developpers are more interested in flagships. No flagship, less developpers!
But they exist, for exemple :
You should think about the situation that, in my opinion, is unfair.
And ask you if you want to give a monopole to qualcomm...
It's a very much capable phone but why huge bezels in Q2 2017. Lenovo really missed out on that one because of the huge bezels the oneplus 5 is hard to b considered as a proper flagship.
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2017I donttt care if my friend goin laugh at me because Im driving Benz C180 to work. No matter... moreDo a factory reset and it will not lag. You can't compare Note 4 and Samsung with this phone.
santoshk123, 09 Aug 2017Is Lenovo India cheating or Amazon india is cheating on specifications for Lenovo k8 Note? ... moreOn mediatek site when i look at Helio X23 i found at Connectivity area that the Wifi suports : a/b/g/n/ac so this phone suports and a/ac band.
The MediaTek Helio X23 employs Tri-cluster, deca-core (4 x 1.4GHz A53 + 4 x 1.8GHz A53, 2 x 2.3GHz A72) 64-bit CPU clocked at 2.3GHz whereas Snapdragon 625 is a high power efficient chip with octa-core (8 x 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 cores) CPU based on 14nm architecture. On another side, Helio X23 uses 20nm process which is not that great as SD625, but still a good option. The GPU on X23 is Mali-T880 MP4 and Adreno 506 on SD625.
Both the platforms are using LPDDR3 RAM with eMMC 5.1 storage; where it is limited to max. 4GB on Helio X23, but SD625 has no limit. In the camera department, both have capabilities to bear dual camera setup, up to 32MP on X23 and Up to 24 MP on SD660 SD625. When it comes to Quick charge support, both have no problem with it unless manufacturer locks it to save some money. The device with X23 can bring the resolution up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600), unfortunately not the case with SD625. The Snapdragon 625 powered devices are restricted to max. Full HD display.
Both the chipsets have their own pros and cons. The Helio X23 has a powerful CPU which is not the case with Snapdragon 625, but Adreno 506 GPU used on SD625 is a better pick when it comes to graphical performance. All in all, Snapdragon 625 is not as strong as X23, but all around a balanced chip. Definitely, Helio X23 looks good enough at least on paper, but we have to test lot more in different conditions. What do you think? Let us know in below comment section!
anjan, 09 Aug 2017Which one is better lenovo z2 plus or k8 note? In terms of performanceIt's a pretty close race. This phone clocks out at a slightly higher speed, but it's not enough to notice in day to day usage
