Where are you from? Which ROM version are you using? Have you tried recording loud music? With human voice or other quiet sounds there is no problem with the quality of the recorded sound.
I recently bought Lenovo P2 after weeks of watching reviews. My biggest fear was the microfone issue of wich so many people are complaining. So i did some videos and a few sound recordings and honestly my phone sounds perfectly fine and very clear. Am i one of the few guys who got a good functioning microfone? Also i was skeptical regarding sound quality with earphones because some people said that the sound is flat an low. After GSMarena's review in wich they said audio quality is loud and clear, i decided to order the phone (i like listening music in headphones alot so audio is a big deal for me) and i honestly say i really like the audio quality. It is indeed very loud and also clear, with deep basses, as long as you use quality headphones. The sound is a bit better than my Moto G and way better then my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL. About camera, i'm not into photography or videos but they do look ok to me, at least in daylight. GPS connects fast, haven't yet tested it's accuracy. Battery looks promising so far.

Nobody knows. There is no changelog provided. On lenovo forum there is guess thats its camera update.
I just installed it.
Security patch remains same (1 october 2016).
When installing it, it said "updating 38 apps".
Sadly Youtube synch issue is not fixed and is still there after updating.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2017anyone got the sound problem in video recording.....I have the sound problem, have you found the solution so far?
before comparing it with redmi note 3 and honor 6x 's price.. we should remember that the display on P2 is super amoled, which is costlier than the one in remaining two..
Samsung will provide same hardware in no less than 30000 rs
I bought this phone only due to its super Amoled display and i am loving it
I have been using this Lenovo P2 mobile since a week.
I observed some pros and cons as follows
Battery Life is too good, easily gives 2days after full charge(with calls), 1.5 days with internet.
Display clarity is good, Videos are playing with awesome clarity.
Fingerprint sensor is so fast, doesn't disappoint u almost anytime.
Perfect Multitasker. Doesn't lags even with lots of applications opened.
Speakers are very nice with loud and clarity is medium.
Power balancing sliding key helps in saving the battery life almost 60% by optimizing the background apps.
Camera is not that great when you compare with price. Front is Ok. Rear is also not that impressive, it's Just OK.
Hybrid SIM slot. So no separate external SD.
Redmi Note 4 is much better than this when compared with price and hardware. It is coming with less price but have to compromise very little in battery life.
Go ahead with this Lenovo P2 if you are frustrated with battery life of you're current mobile. This is like a power house.
