I got my P2 on Sunday Jan 15 and started using it immediately. I am satisfied with the P2 especially the battery. However, I would like to share few things with other users.
1. Default settings allow many apps to use net in the background and i realized it after loosing 2 GB of net pack and talk time worth Rs. 500. This should be taken care and user should be allowed to select which apps will have access to net in the background.
2. Creation of new contact and searching an existing contact is not at all user friendly. Designers should look at how this is done by other manufacturers. This comment is based on the facility provided in a Samsung phone which i am using.
3. User guide is not very helpful. A detailed user guide for bundled apps should be provided.
4. A simple Memo app to store some information may be provided. Evernote is having too many features for ordinary users.
5. User should be able to selectively hide / un hide apps based on usage.
Is it just some setting which I need to enable or is there really not possible to see call length in lenovo default dialer app??? Very strange.
I searched internet and found nothing expect that some pointed out that in other phones you can usually see call length and other info about call if you long press on it. When I do that on P2 its start to call that person and don't show any addition info :(
Mind blowing mobile...much better than crap Moto Z play....must go for this if anyone planning to buy...!!!
Took my Lenovo P2 from charger at 100% at 3 am today, now at 8.30pm (after 17.30 hrs) with 3h 15min screen time & 13h 44min standby my charge is still at 73%.
so its confirmed for moderate user it will give 3 days battery backup.
Super Heavy users it will atleast get 1.5 days of battery backup for sure.
Dobri3939, 17 Jan 2017Do you do a difference between ultrapixel and mega pixel ?I purchased HTC M8 after considering all the technical description of 4 ultrapixel.......I also trusted some reviews here which turned out to be fake after we actually started using HTC M8......horrible camera for a flagship....even a budget phone has better cam......They changed it to a 13 MP cam when they released HTC M8 Eye in India but dont know abt its clarity coz non of my friends had it ....
it seems that the battery is a bargain on this phone but any reviews about the camera? lets say compared it whit samsung s3 how is it
I am looking for a mid range mobile and have short listed P2. In a review, of the same, it has ben mentioned that, if 4G is configured on one sim, the other sim will have to be set on 2G.
My question is, can this mobile run both sims in combination of 4G and 3G? Incase, if 4G internet does not work, I don't want to remain helpless with the slow speed of 2G.
is there any audio registration problem in lenovo P2 ? Please visit following link...
So my phone overheat and shutdown this morning. I was running Wake around 11am. 45-50 mins drive 2 stops for 5-10mins each leave the phone in car. It wasn't even hot day I notice phone was shut off and hot. Switch on see sensors showing 71c and mostly the rest in 60s c. Not sure if it's waze or what but previously happen few times on moto g same app but I did not leave in car was fully air con the phone was hot but didn't shutdown.

Aldrin Vaz, 17 Jan 2017will 128 gb memory card work smoothly in Lenovo P2. yup it works smoothly...
i bought Lenovo P2 on launch day itself from Flipkart (India). awesome mobile. battery is terrific. u hve to use it to believe it. will last more than 1 to 1.5 days for any hardcore/heavy user. 2.5 to 3 days sure for moderate user. very nice premium build quality. superb display and phone is very fast (mine is 4GB variant). i was worried abt the bad to avg camera reviews but believe me its very gud if not the best. In indoor shots with gud lighting it way better than my Samsung Note 3 Neo which i was using till now. Outdoor pics r similar or little better than my note 3 neo. Only in low light without flash pics r grainy just like my note 3 neo. there is some occasional focus issues but overall im fully satisfied with its camera comparing it with my Samung note 3 neo and my wife HTC M8 (worst cam with 4 Ultrapixel ). Even Lenovo P8 front cam is better than both the other said so called flagship phones. But plz dont compare or expect a 18K phone cam with 50K plus phone of Apple, Samsung and LG.
So other than camera its a champ phone in all department. I inserted the sim yesterday at 2 pm when phone was at 98% but today at 9.30pm (after 31hrs) with 10hrs 12mins screen time and 21hrs15mins of standby with installing more than 40 apps, updating another 20 apps and continuous browsing / experimenting new features over wifi & 3G my charge is still at 31%. thts unbelievable.
my note 3 initially for few months gave me 7-8 hrs of backup but from last 1yr its giving me just 3-4 hrs to battery backup tht too with power saver on. Im a heavy user (no games though) but was fed up charging my phone 3-4 times a day. Even if Lenovo P2 gives one full day backup after 6-8 months that will b awesome. One question guyz wats the use of having a flagship device with super configuration, extraordinary camera etc etc with poor or avg backup. Battery life is the most important thing in a mobile which cant b ignored. camera, configuration, built quality comes latter (Lenovo P2 is a complete package).
Hope other top brands follow Lenovo in battery life.
