Azeem.Zuhair, 03 Jan 2017FYI... it is no more Lenovo... It's now "LeMoto"... Lenovo + Motorola... so, frequent updates ... moreso is there any chances that p2 will get nougat ota update
Bemmy, 03 Jan 2017Dont buy lenovo phones they are bad at providing updatesFYI... it is no more Lenovo... It's now "LeMoto"... Lenovo + Motorola... so, frequent updates are similar to Motorola phones...
wairdon, 31 Dec 2016I hear Lenovo P2 don have galleryCorrect... no more bloatware gallery... the default gallery is Google Photos.... you can install 3rd party gallery and photo editor instead...
Celoxocis, 30 Dec 2016That's BS. The Moto Z Play uses only 32bit build Android. While the Lenovo P2 uses the full ad... moreWell, there's no need to be so defensive. It's just my opinion. I find it slow against my Zenfone 3 and as my test unit Moto Z play. You can test use to do comparison as well to verify my statement.
this the phone I've been waiting for. excellent battery life. front fingerprint sensor. big ram. also using usb 2.0 has many advantages for now. I've been using it for a week with no issues
Ferno, 02 Jan 2017How much u payed for it? With these specs, how much a Samsung phone costs?
P1 got marshmallo... moreAs I already mentioned these are excellent phones first feature wise and secondly price wise. Vibe P1 was released in Sept 2015 and the security updates/patches stopped in June 2016 and I am not taking about OS release but security patches. These phones are not that cheap for Lenovo to abandon updates even before a year of the release.
We as customers should make this information available to fellow customers about what to expect which will help the buying decision.
only if it is going to launch before the end of this month then only im gonna buy it....

Tee, 02 Jan 2017To those of you still debating whether to buy this phone or not.. I highly recommend it. Been ... moreOh and of course the battery is a monster! Over 16 hrs SoT mixed usage with 7% left... pretty awesome.
To those of you still debating whether to buy this phone or not.. I highly recommend it. Been using it for the past 48 hrs and I'm very impressed. Coming from Note 5, Xperia Z3 Compact, LG G2 and Note 3, this phone blows them out of the water.
Performance is smooth with no hiccups, the screen is bright and the colors are vivid. I didn't face any problems installing over 50 apps and it never got warm. Gaming is great, I don't see any frame drops or throttling, games like Marvel COC, Mortal Kombat X, Transformers FTF, Dead Trigger 2 and Real Racing 3 all run smoothly.. identical to my Note 5 if not better.
Only downside is the average camera, it's not too shabby and you can adjust settings for a better picture or use Open Camera app.
Overall a great package for the price, I do not feel this is a medium spec'ed phone, it simply works great and the metal body design is a sure winner.

P1 got marshmallow update.
My htc 820g is still running on 4.4.2.. i bought it for 23k (with same specs of A7000, which is now in 6.0)
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2017i think the 64 gb is only available in china. the european version is the 32GB. I don´t ... moreLenovo is a China based company so even those units in Europe are made in China.
Lenovo has a very poor record for providing software updates. Vibe P1 had impressive specs but failed in software updates. Last one I have is dated June 2016. I am afraid the same will be followed for P2. Also they failed to provide a Volte update for P1. Refer to below link. They have lost my trust now.
