I don't play games, but I do use a lot of apps like Reddit, WhatsApp, FB, YT etc. Is the P2's 3GB/32 a good choice for me over the Redmi Note 4? I'm leaning more toward P2 because I'd love the 5000mAh battery.
azhar75, 23 Jul 2017For my case, I use double layer screen protectors... Let me summarize this pain point for benefit of other P2 users who have trouble/worries over tempered glass thingy..
1. First and foremost 2D curved glass for P2 means it is bent/curved more pronounced at bottom . This means simple application of tempered 9H hardness glass protection for Gorilla class 3 of P2 would leave bubbles at bottom. This is by design and it won't affect touch quality or any other of display. But application of a screen guard is painful as users don't want to take risk of display which only claims gorilla 3 protection, hence prone to scratches if done freuently + shatterproof protection is needed due to fact that replacin display is v.expensive compared to cost of device.
2. Now few suggestions are made here:
i) Users can apply a flexible (remember not tempered glass though) and some links are avl (don't want to paste here as it would get removed by moderator) which avoids bubbles but it must be noted that it is not 9H hardness as tempered glass.
ii) A suggestion to careful align bottom to top of a fully fit tempered glass can work for gold variant . Note one need to be v.careful and apply the tempered glass bottom to top.
Another suggestion is to apply the simple PET film screen guard that is supplied with the device first and then apply tempered glass on top of it so that PET film bends little to avoid bubbles when tempered glass is later on top applied.
iii) few other cosmetic alternatives are there just to mask the bubbles..
Hope this helps.
azhar75, 23 Jul 2017FYI...
https://youtu.be/z_VUV8-wR4Myeah. i know it which is what i replied to other user. Even i wasted on 2 tempered glass despite knowin the issue well in advance. In end i resulted in something that covers properly but big 2 bubbles at bottom and slightly on sides. Even tried aligning properly, alternatives suggested in user forum@lenovo but they are not satisfactory.
Living with it as long as bubbles dont spread or come off from sides...
Anonymous, 22 Jul 2017I bought 3gb variant two days back and got dec 16 manufacturing so I am facing the tempered gl... morewhat is the issue? If it is bubbles at bottom of screen after applying tempered glass then it is a known one due to curved nature of screen. Most (90%) of tempered glass available are either not proper fit ie do not cover fully the screen or leave air bubbles esp near bottom of screen next to fingerprint button.
I bought 3gb variant two days back and got dec 16 manufacturing so I am facing the tempered glass issue. What should I do?

AnonD-678712, 16 Jul 2017Will Lenovo release the P3? And when can we expect it?September is the usual release date.
I would like a better processor + higher memory speed + better camera in low light.
The display, battery life, and charging spees are amazing, I hooe they don't ruin them.
P2 Camera is the most week thing. They need to enhance it.
An Awesome Device , But The Storage Could Have Been 64GB For The 4GB RAM Variant, I'm Missing Dolby !!! Maybe The Next Version Could Come With Android O ,Dolby ,
64GB Of Internal Storage, Snapdragon 626, Quad HD Display & With All The Previous Features In P2
