RK55, 07 Jul 2017Yes. It's true. Not sure about the heating you say with radio listening on Lenovo P2 but the default Radio app bundled with it sucks(could be due to earphones i use as well not sure).
So Not even able to listen one radio statio properly however there are some good radio app in playstore with which able to listen many with same earphone.
Can you change your radio app and see if you get heatin issues for i listened to 5-10min no heatin seen however not with default app which is anyway useless.
When you say cpu heatin i assume you measure it with some cpu app and so the cpu heatin also translate to overall device heatin which can be felt and do you see battery drain etc?
Guys, in my p2, the paint around the four sides of home button/ fingerprint scanner has started to peel off. Anyone facing this issue?? Pls reply....
Mine is gold variant, bought in 06/2017, manufactured at 02/2017.
AnonD-111384, 07 Jul 2017hi, i am planning to buy P2 soon but i want your honest opinion. please share your personal ex... morei have been using it for last 5+ days or so. Overall a v.good phone esp battery which is its highlight and very less/no heating almost in simple/normal usage.
Below is what i see:
1. Build: Nice
Phone build is nice not so heavy as wt. uniform across and slimmer than i thought.
Screen is claimed to be corning gorilla 3 but not sure better to use screen guard.
2. Display: V.Good
is v.good i.e super Amolex is cool as well as power efficient. Great for multimedia content/vidoes
3. Battery,Charging: Amazing
Fast charging works without any heating and charges fully in around 2hrs. (100-120min to be precise depending on whether you charge from 5% or 20%). Don't believe 1hr or 1.5 hr data as it takes close to 2hrs but this is much better and what surprised me was no heating at all even while charging in my personal exp.
Battery life is amazing that it came little more than 3days for me in 1 full charge but i am a simple user with ocassional video, surfing.
4. Rest features: OK
Nougat update works so far fine and they stick to stock android like Moto phones i.e they removed those features which they felt taking them too far from android or troublesome in keep updating without duplication of work. Best thing is to update to Nougat before you install apps .
Fingerprint sensor works most of time though it cannot with wet, oily fingers etc as claimed and though fast to detect its algorithm needs further improvement.
LED notification works but settings need little tweaking i.e sometimes overall phone settings override app specific settings etc.
I don't know much about camera/gaming etc and you can check others/reports elsewhere.
Overall if you are a heavy browser, consume multimedia/videos/music and need a phone to come for 2+days with 1 charge along with most other features like fp sensor,NFC,other usability features like multi color LED notification etc it is a decent/good phone.
Hope it helps
Man, 06 Jul 2017Temp. Of cpu goes to 50 deg. Celcius while playing FM radio for 30 minutesVery strange to believe it. In my personal experience Lenovo P2 esp its sd625 processor is very good when it comes to handling heating issues. i have not so far seen even a bit of heating while fast charging or playing videos streaming, browsing for 1hr or so.
Only worry for me as of today is its screen build which i doubt if it is corning Gorilla 3 as claimed and whether Lenovo would provide faster updates...
Otherwise it is a very good phone in all aspects..
ToonToon, 07 Jul 2017I bought two Lenovo P2. 3GB, Grey model. First one in January and second one in June. Both are... moreIt is true p2 is under rated. I was searching for a silicone case in chandni kolkata it was suprising there is no transparaent case for p2.

AnonD-66956, 07 Jul 2017Is that reliable info?? We dont gonna believe.Yes. It's true.
I bought two Lenovo P2. 3GB, Grey model. First one in January and second one in June. Both are manufactured in December 2016. Made in india. Despite a great device, it's very Underrated. People buy Redmi 4, Moto G5+ but what for? Maybe for software update. But is it very important than Battery backup, Supar amoled display and 24 watt smart charge? I am very happy with this device.
I'm playing hearthstone and it only -1% for every 10min with 50% brightness. And mobile legend for 2 % a match which around 15 min.

Lenovo P2 is among the best phone money can buy in 2016-2017. The only drawback is it's average camera quality - but it's not bad. It's an all rounder phone, I'm really satisfied with it's overall performance:
Temp. Of cpu goes to 50 deg. Celcius while playing FM radio for 30 minutes
I have bought LENOVO P2 following GSMArena review and a few others.
Why LENOVO P2 : battery life
with extrem power saving i can go on for 2 weeks without charging, just a little WIFI an hour a day and a little 4G for 30 minutes.
I am completly obsessed by autonomy, i do not want to bother about it.
LENOVO P2 delivers on this account.
To achieve this result, Android 7.0 installed and trimmed to bare minimum, no facebook or instagram Apps draining my battery.
So no Apps other then stock Android.
I do find the sound of my correspondant to be a bit too metallic to my taste.
Powerfull ring also for not missing call.
I am on my second charge, the battery app tell me i will get 19 days out of this charge :)
Weight and thickness : no much difference coming from Motorola G4play.
Motorola G4play 2800 mAh battery gave me only 4 to 5 days out of 1 charge :(
Good point, it was removable unlike the Lenovo P2, bad point for the Lenovo.
