IDS., 12 Nov 2013Lenovo P780 Dual SIM with 8GB or Samsung Galaxy Core I8260? Which is better? Prices are almost same.go with the lenovo p780. the battery life is marvellous. no phone in the market right now can match the beast. in term user experience, i not a fan of the launcher but u can download other launcher on Google play store. speaker is great and loud. camera is mehh...but still a good shooter. i just wish i can get the 8gb version instead of the 4gb. no obvious lag and the whole UI is smooth. waiting for official 4.3 or 4.4 kit kat upgrade. :)

IDS., 12 Nov 2013Lenovo P780 Dual SIM with 8GB or Samsung Galaxy Core I8260? Which is better? Prices are almost same.If you are looking a smartphone under 20k you must go to lenovo p780 or instead galaxy core you can buy xperia c. Samsung's battery and graphics system aren't so good for daily use. I suggest you to buy xperia c.

I don't know what is stock UI, but yes I bought it from one of the store in Pune and I liked its UI.
Please note that, before buying the phone check its internal memory, previously it was 4GB but now it improved to 8GB by Lenovo. So, confirm that you are buying phone having 8GB internal ROM.
Visit following links for good review of this phone
You can get some idea about Lenovo UI in second link
Hi since you bought it in India please tell me if the UI is Stock Android ( like most micromax phones) or it is fully skinned by lenovo ( app drawer, drop down menu, home screen etc etc)..as I really want tobuy this phone in India too but have been seeing different UI's in all the reviews..please help me as im really confused..thank you! :)

does the GPS require 3G connectivity or has Built Inn GPS? Thanks
very nice phone I ever have. Good battery backup, up to 3 to 4 days with normal use of blue tooth, camera and NET and GPS ON, 2G and 3G continuous ON.
Dual SIM, one for 3G and second for 2G.
Good specs in low cost of Rs. 18000/-. Using this phone for last half month and very happy (value for money). Everything is working fine.
this phone is a good one. but it will only reveal it's true capacity for those who know how to use it. :)
and take note: please be contented to your things> afterall, you are the one who choose that.

Thanks in advance
Bought this phone in ct center the 8GB model and i'm making a record of my usage. So far i'm impressed, video chat on Skype for 1 hour, music for 5 hours, watch YouTube for 2 hours, download and update apps, use maps several times and flashlight and notes and dictionary, calculator, take several photos, brightness at Maximum All The Time, send lots of sms, received calls, play games for half an hour while on Dual Sim running both All-the-time and guess what..I still have 21% of battery on the 3rd day! I believe after subsequent charging the battery will reach its full potential hence it can last 5 days of normal usage...I will record my usage and I will let you know after a week.
Oh by the way, nice screen and great rear camera, loud speakers, no lags, wifi&bluetooth are seamless, call quality is good, solid build and elegant look. But..but..but. the front camera is mehhh, don't use it for taking self portrait co'z its grainy and blurred, however passable for video calls. But aside from front camera i give this a bad-ass seal of approval the angryjoe style...worth the money its a great phone...cheers!
