Any idea about the GPS ? Does it support offline GPS, i.e navigation with maps like Sygic even without turning on the data.
gelo, 02 Jan 2016same issue... just set to "network time"i dont have this problem at all. what is your rom?intl or cn?
I noticed that when I receive a call while other applications are running, the call screen goes behind the running apps and I had to individually close the other apps to be able to take the call.
Also, when I have a call and put the phone against my ear, the screen remains active and apps get launched unintentionally

Anyway, if you see in the most bottom when you open settings, it said "about tablet" while in my z3 compact it said "about phone". So I think, in default, android read the device as tablet , not phone
Just received today from online shop. This is the best companion for my z3 compact and perfect replacement for my fonepad 7. My z3c for daily phone, message and social media, whilephab plus for media video and gaming include playbook. So far so good. Only downside is its quite hot if use it in quite long time

any fix or solution.
Decided to try the Phab Plus as compared to the other tablet phones, this one has Dolby Atmos and a Full-HD screen. So far, I haven't regretted my purchase.
The phone is incredibly thin and sexy in appearance, however, it is really slippery to hold if you do not have the rubbery casing.
Due to the size of this phone, I only intend to use it more as an entertainment device first and a phone second.
Although this phone is advertised as having dual SIM slots and an MicroSD slot, you can either put in one MicroSD and one SIM card or 2 SIM cards. There is no way to put in 2 SIM cards and a MicroSD as it is a shared tray. However, the SIM slot is nicely designed as it can accommodate either a MicroSD or a Nano SIM (in one part of the tray) and the other part is a Micro SIM tray.
Regarding the Dolby Atmos speaker, it is one of the loudest phones I've ever heard. My first encounter with raw power of the Dolby Atmos was when I set the alarm of the phone the next morning. Normally, it would take me 3 alarm rings to wake me. However, with the Dolby Atmos, things were about to change that.........All of that!!!
At 6am on the dot, the earth-shattering alarm woke the hell out of me and my wife so much so that I quickly tried and figure out how to disable the other 2 alarms before it rings again...I was too shocked and go back to sleep after that and I've never dared to use the Phab as an alarm clock again.
Brilliant display and resolution
Fast zippy response with games, videos and internet access
Extremely loud speaker
Didn't encounter the reduced ring-volume as reported by others. I downloaded a lot of loud ringtones from Zedge and that may have helped.
Too unwieldly and too slippery to hand-hold without casing
The screen is not entirely black as compared to an OLED screen
Camera focusing is too slow and shutter lag is almost 1 sec.....
