I own a Lenovo S860 too. Battery life...I give a thumbs up. Others...all thumb down. I need to reboot my phone at least once a day. When using Waze, it always show no GPS. LENOVO should recall all this model since so many many complaint...
Bought it an year ago... many problems: GPS signal, phone signal sim 1 and 2.
Sent back in warranty thay said the modem has this problem and nothing to do.
DO NOT BUY IT.
What good a 4000 batery if no signal and gps?
i purchased lenovo s860 in the month of feb 2015, within few months i started facing problem , firstly it was charging problem ... the mobile was not getting charge then i went to the authorized service center in nasik and they resolve my problem but after resolving this problem immediately i faced network problem. i was not getting network at all and my mobile was like a dead body for me as no use. three times the mother board was been replaced by the same service center... but unfortunately the problem was not resolved .. ultimately the service center gave hopes as the problem was not been resolved and he tried from his end to make a replacement for my mobile as it was under warranty. but sorry to say he did not get support, respond from lenovo team and finally he told me to take initative and send email to lenovo team and sepak to the customer care. my experience in the last one month was such a harassing, time and money consuming. till date i have not got my replacement when my mobile is still under warranty. they all are duffers and fools the customer by just assuring things but zero output. every time i call the customer care number of lenovo i have to start from beginning and waste my time, then they keep you hold on phone not less than half and hour and when they dont find any problem solution they deliberately disconnect the call. and again when we call them up there lines are busy and again another executive and again the same story repetition and again no response no solution.
i am now too fed up and frustrated and they have a very low quality mobile which are defective and neither they have the problem solving capacity. i am literally counting my patience. what a third class service they are proving. they neither are aware about the warranty terms and conditions as different number of executives gives different types of answers. they really make us go mad and loose our patience. i kindly request all the customers to beware from lenovo products specially smart phones which are really not worth, my money 16800/- goes all in vain. they are deliberately making it delayed as they dont want to give replacement and wasting the warrant period. since last one month i am chasing to these lenovo team, but they are hopeless and gon-case in giving solutions. they even dont reply your email . i had a very bad and worst experience with lenovo s860 mobile. i personally request all the people to not purchase any of the lenvo mobile and they have to repent on their decision .. like how i am repenting today. please don't go for it. its my humble and genuine request and alert for all of you.

overall the phone is good.... especially the battery... long lasting.. but i have problem with gps signal... always lost when i'm using waze even my phone signal is good. anyone got the same problem?

I have Lenevo S860 for 1 year and i can say this phone has lots of broblem., when i purchased.....plz dont purchase...
I have Lenevo S860 for 1 year and i can say:
1. the display will be "half yellow " after few months (4);
2. the headphones will broke after 2 or 3 times of use ( the quality of the plastic is very low)
3. after a time, the phone don't work properly ( you can't receive calls, but you can make calls, and SIM works properly in others phones).
The only good thing at this phone is battery.
I don't recommend this phone.
My phone got dropped and since than it restarts over and over again whenever i insert sim card or whever i open any random application...please help
I used this phone about 3 month and it started to stuck and hang without any reason

Though the appearance looks... moreI bought Lenovo s860 mobile & within 1 month I am facing hanging problem like when I touch phonebook icon or msg icon it becomes blanck n after some time it shows contact manager is not working & a dialouge box appears with two options like u want to WAIT or OK to move out phonebook option.
But battery is working well.

I don't know if it is only my phone but my s860's screen overheat very fast. When I open the camera app the screen brightness is set to the highest. The battery lacks calibration, it will stay at a level for a very long time and then the level will drop 1% every 10seconds. Can anyone explain the problem?
