Wifi disconnected frequently. Already read on lenovo forum, many user discussion for this wifi problem but no body know how to solve this case, you can cek on these forum. I think this hw problem.

I am using Lenovo S860 for the last 6 months and now it started giving me a problem. i have a very good wifi connection despite that it fails get it connect. Can somebody plez me suggest me how to resolve this issue.

Been using this model for 1 year 1 month now. Battery performance is like 2000mAh not 4000mAh as before. Line reception is getting bad. I couldnt use GPS maps ever since i bought because of Maxis cant detect model. Therefore, slower browsing. Past 2 months, restarting the phone frequently. Lenovo antivirus app is monthly subscription basis not free. Next target is P70. Hopefully no issues on the model and Maxis

I've been thinking about purchasing a Lenovo for my husband, but still haven't dec... moreI'm reading all these comments, and as far as I can see there's a lot of people here who bought cheaper chinese copy of S860 on ebay and now they're talking bull***t. I have mine for 6 months now (original with 2GB of RAM). I'm very happy with it. I have used it as a gps navigator on my business trips, and it works perfect. The wifi is great, so as the network signal. I was trying to buy it in Croatia, Serbia, France, Hungary and Germany,lookin for it online, reading...for a month, and I've found out that there is no way to buy the original in western Europe, because Lenovo wouldn't export it there for some reason. They were selling their phones in Serbia and Hungary, but the dealers (who are all listed on Lenovo's webpage, and you cannot buy the original somewhere else), couldn't get this model. They were offering me some other lenovo phones instead. Finally I've found only 2 pieces in MediaMarkt in Pecs, Hungary, emailed them, reserved it, and went there to buy it.
I'm writing this from S860. I really really love the phone. Only thing that could be a little bit more precise(but it does work) is the screen rotation, but despite it, I would buy it again definitely.

I found the lenovo S860 terrible... I carry another phone despite having a dual Sim phone cause the OS in S860 can't handle the load... Software hangs and I ave to keep rebooting it.... I can go on and on..... In short My 3 yr old S3 is a lot lot better

I've been using this phone for just over a month now and I really love the battery capacity, I can go a full day with just a single charge. Apps I frequently use are: BBM, Whatsapp, Chrome, Twitter, Clash of Clans. At first I experience weak signal too after updating to latest firmware; but not any more, I don't know how or why but the signal is strong now.

I've been using S860 for couple weeks. In my opinion, this phone is good, but not great. I am satisfied with the build quality, especially with it's metal body, feels premium. The drawback is the connection issue. Lenovo S860 is a dual sim card GSM Phone, but it will not work when you used both sim card slot... Signal lost and wifi issue are the result of this phone firmware weakness. May another update (after ROW S405) can solve this matter. If the problem solved, this phone is perfect...

I suggest to chose another phone. I was expecting to be a good product (i have other very good Lenovo products), but this phone has a lot of issues with the signal, the gps (even with data) it takes more than 10 minutes to detect your location and is seeing you in the other side of the city. Beside this, considering that is a design issue (is a problem for almost all customers), lenovo does not have any official statement and they are not even working to fix the problem. Software updates (Android 5.0) are released for other phones, but they are not taking S860 in consideration for these updates. I was totally disappointed by Lenovo with this product, and i will not buy any other phone or tablet from them. They are really good at notebooks, but that's all.

Hey guys,
I've been thinking about purchasing a Lenovo for my husband, but still haven't decided which one I should get him. The S860 was my first idea, since a friend of mine has been using it for a few months and she's been pretty happy with it. On the other hand I read some good things about the new Vibe X2, but the long battery life wasn't a plus there. So basically I am looking for a good smart phone, with a long lasting battery, easy to work with, as big as the S860 (my husband has big hands:)), good audio and video. What would you suggest? Thanks!
