only can work china
Singaporean, 04 Jan 2015My China brought s90t can't detect 3g,4G, lte. .. I m stuck with 2g only. Any known work around? Hi guys,
maybe there's a work around for radio frequencies.
There's a tutorial on XDA which you can apply to the Sisley. I followed it for LTE networks but something else is preventing me from connecting to them.. Maybe my carriers are restriting LTE to some phones database, that's my final guess.
Anyway for those who wants to try and see if they can get more frequencies like 3G (or better luck in 4G than me), check this out:
A few tips from me :
You don't need to follow whole tutorial, just from step 7 (all commands lines are not needed for sisley) until 29/30.
All you need to download is QXDM and QPST software suites + lenovoUsbDriver (i don't remember where i got it but you ll find it).
*#*#8899#*#* is what you need to enable USB engineer mode then just follow the tutorial carefully, it's easy actually once you have done it once.
And DONT FORGET TO WRITE DOWN ALL THE SETTINGS YOU ARE GOING TO MODIFY (to be able to revert in case you run into some network problems)
for china version ...that model number end with "T" not support 3g or 4g at singapore or malaysia...because its use different bandwitht that call " TD-SCDMA"

all you need to do is to have it rooted. there is plenty of tutorials on youtube if you can't find some sort of technician
i bought this phone form china website but it was chines edition, no Google play, no multi-language,
for me it was useless
is there is any way to solve this problem ?
Is this a good phone?forget about the ram,plz anyone answer me!i'm very interested of this phone.
Now in my hands.
Better than moto g or samsung 3 neo.
200$ is a great price for the material quality and performance.
Lenovo is one of the best smartphone producer.
Anonymous, 04 Dec 2014looking great but I'm confused how is camera quality bcoz not a hd display and not show camera... moreHi,
i'm still undecided wether i send it back to seller or if i keep it..
I've tested the phone furthermore yesterday.
About camera, quality is quite average, i made only a few shots indoor but it's disappointing globally.
Defaut camera is slow, despite many options, pictures lack of details and it seems colors are randomly bad. Other camera apps don't do better.
I'm hesitating to keep it because, to be frank, the design is quite good (iphone 6 like without the ugly button), totally flat both sides, light weighted. Phone is really smooth for navigating on it, Lenovo has added many options to Android, like auto sms forwarding, samsung's blocking mode (copied by Apple after as DND mode), many power saving options, apps firewallinf etc...
Speaker has a good quality, screen too. Only thing is that it's made for chinese for market so many chinese apps and no play store on it by defaut. Root or rooted rom with play store is necessary but then no more 'official' updates i guess.
Guru, 26 Nov 2014iphone is the best. simply the very best...nothing compares to it....nothing....Keep your thoughts to your butt, if you are not interested to a particular mobile phone being discussed, or better still go to the mountain and shout about your phone.
looking great but I'm confused how is camera quality bcoz not a hd display and not show camera pixel ?
I received one but i've got to send it back to sender :
phone is nice, surprisingly smooth despite 1gb ram and custom UI from Lenovo but the phone won't connect on my european LTE networks (i tried 2 different network carriers with 2 different sims).
I have s90-u version.
Too bad, it looks very slick but a bit tall (a few mm bigger than a S5).
