As I have observed Most of the devices has lost Fingerprint data after upgrading OS .. Try resetting after installing updates..
It solved the same problem of mine too..

the dolby atmos is good and after using it about 3 months no what so ever problem like batery heating or worst battery life, and yet im still not gonna upgraded to marshmllw. play game almost 3 - 4 houtlrs on kingdom warrior and about 1 hour fifa 17 not facing lag or heating and battery is very good for me.

We must want VOLTE support with some incremental update the performance is very good in Marshmallow some times the fingerprint scanner crashes but apart from that it is good , and then most of the user request Lenovo developers to build the VOLTE support with the incremental update please!

i bought this phone some 6 months ago. if only this phone's battery is around 4000mah, or higher, then this would be my primary phone. i only use it for watching videos on antvr and some gaming. i still prefer my old lenovo p70 as my main phone which has awesome battery life and higher processor speed.

the sides of the phone are made of pastic, not metal as it says in the review! i've seen the teardown, recommend using high quality protection such as: silicon case, tempered glass!

I am using k4 note for 2 months. All things are good in this . But one major problem is that ,i have jio sim and i am using it for internet surfing but speed are not as good as in my brothers Samsung phones. What should i do? I shall be very thankful for your advice...........
