Worst phone and customer service. My phone started giving problem within one week of purchase. The charging slot of phone has loose connection with the charger provided, Phone gets discharged very very quickly and at times takes 3/4th day to get charged completely. There is no cutomer care provider in my district and customer care call center does not connect to customer care executive. Regret buying this product

I purchased VIBE K4 NOTE in June 2016. For the past one month, it would not charge while on. One of the advice I got (through users forum) from one user with the same problem suggested that I reset the phone by dialling ###7777##. I followed the directive but now I cannot even access the phone. My gmail account is no longer recognized. How frustrating it is!
This would likely be my last LENOVO PHONE or any device at all.
hakim, 28 Sep 2016some sites said a7010 sim 2 do not support 4g. is that true? Both SIM supports 4G, but when two SIMs are used together, only one of them is 4G-enabled while the other gets fixed at 2G. We can choose which SIM slot to use for mobile data in the Settings (SIM Management).

It is probable that over several drops, the integrity of your phone's innards got compromised, with the last knock finally caused something to give in.
This should serve as a warning for us to be more careful with our stuff including our phones.
But sorry about your experience with the after-sales service.

Sorry for your ordeal. However, we really can not say "please do not buy any of xxx brand devices," when our one device got problem. Because in reality, there is not a brand that manages to make absolutely-trouble-free devices. You are not going to say that we do not buy any device because at some point it will have issues, are you?
Your experience should be a lesson to all of us to better take care of our device, and all our belongings for that matter, and how to deal with service centres, yeah.
first time to ever comment on a smartphone. its a perfect phone for me, feature wise, its worth every penny. wish it will update soon to android nougat. thanks lenovo team!!

My lenovo K4 Note purchased in March 2016 was working till one day it slipped and fell down from about 2 feet. My phone fell down many times earlier but i never had any issue, but this time it wouldn't charge properly. It took about 6-8 hours to charge compared to an usual 1-1.5 hours charging time.
I took it to the "Lenovo Authorised Service Center" and they guy said that water went into the charging port and it wouldn't be covered under warranty. I was asked to pay Rs. 1800 for fixing it. I requested them to return the mobile to me(the service center informed me that it would take another 1.5 - 2 months for returning my mobile) and they returned the mobile in the worst condition. It wouldn't even switch on now. At the service center I had assumed that the battery might have gone to 0% and didn't care to ask the guys at the center because i was already frustrated waiting for more than 3 hours talking to them.
Later when i tried to charge it it wouldn't get charged or turned on, after fiddling it a bit i realized that the guys at the service center didn't fix the battery properly (call themselves authorized service, can't fix up the battery properly..LOL). After some inspection i found out that the contact leads from the module (containing charging port, below speaker and mic) to the motherboard got corroded. (I sweat a lot and the phone stays in my pocket all day long. The moisture from the sweat must have corroded them through the charging port.)
What a great design fault and still they don't fix it up under warranty. I was once told by a Lenovo service engineer not to take up my laptop as a carry-in to lenovo authorised service because they are the worst. Guess he is right.
Currently, my mic is not working properly but i managed to fix up the button speaker and charging port and am pretty angry on the company. It's been hardly 5 months since i purchased the device and their stupid warranty doesn't cover even the basic issues.
Worst phone ever. 1st phone was switching off every 10 minutes changed at shop on purchased date. Second stopped recognize usb after 2 weeks usage. Can not charge use adb etc when it is switched on While switch off it is always recognized. Sometimes only multiple reboots help. Tried latest Marshalow, downgraded to lolipop Factory reset, Safe mode... And support dont want to deal with it even if paid as likely this model is very buggy.

As it was under warranty so went to Lenovo service Center. And ask to check, after few min I got reply Â“ SirÂ’ your phone is dead due to Liquid found in it and it will cost you RS1800. I was shock. I told her how it possible as phone was working fine, before updating 6.01. but the lady was not listening . she ask me to pay Rs1800Â’ as we donÂ’t provide warranty for Liquid Found.
I took my phone back and after going home I open phone and clean with cotton and put the phone for charging after few min it get started.
SoÂ… Lenovo service center executiveÂ’s makes the people fool and charged money from them.
Â… It would be better not to buy phones of this Company. Who make the people fool.
There are lot of people who face problem with Lenovo mobile.
