i am using this phone since last 1.5 years, phone is good but there is so many bugs, speed is nice, for use not for gaming because phone gets heated very quickly , camera quality is decent in the price money, battery life is not so good, but touch response is nice, front camera is really good, storage is also nice,

Otherwise, bring it to Lenovo service center and get the battery replaced with a new one.

Since K4 Note launch in January 2016, 6.0 Marshmallow update we got, any one know whether we will get Android Nougat 7.0 update?? Rest of all phone is excellent till date. just camera is bit bright.

The phone didn't have sim toolkit so I can't use MPesa and after 5 months it started to self dial so I can't even enter password. I couldn't find spare screen in Kenya so I bought another phone and am not buying Lenovo phones ever again. Crappy stuff

Abhay , 23 Nov 2017Please update the Andriod OS to nougat for this phone modelI highly doubt Lenovo will give it Nougat update.
It is after all kinda a budget device. It got one OS update from Lollipop to Marshmallow, a couple of minor updates, and that's it.
I will just enjoy mine while it last, then move on to a better device next, complete with newer software of course.

CAN someone tell me how to improve the outdoor visibility of K4 note. Also how to increase maximum brightness on this device ? its too low even on full brightness ?????????????

Review and marshmallow update: (Indian) (1.6 gb update)
I bought a refurbished device and it shipped with lollipop...hanged like hell, heated too. Many song videos in mx player 1080p also stuttered and got stuck. Wifi was not fast.
After marshmallow update:
I was blown away and totally surprised.
The phone was 400 % faster
The camera improved even more by 10 %
No hangs ,
WIFI faster by 200 %
Heating reduced by 10 %
The phone looks like stock android in MArshmallow (not a fan of stock)
The negative of marshamllow was
Brightness reduced by 10 %
Am sad about that
BUt what a fantastic update. ( i was thinking of returning the device but now i will keep it.)
Tip: Kindly do not further update the phone with a 41 mb an 38 mb updates that follow......those updates further slow down the phone ! The only update you need to do and stop at is the 1.6 Gb update

If not that try..........factory resetting your phone.(you will loose all internal data and phone numbers so take backup)
Or else you need google play store......try alternative stores like "Apk pure app, mobilegenie app" etc.
If you cant sign into your phone during start up.....see youtube videos to bypass mediatek processors in phone !
