I still like the P1 but I'm waiting to see what the Acer Liquid X2 is like, though only 4000mha battery.

Is the vibration quiet on the P1? I have the P780 and I miss calls if I have it on ... moreVibration is not strong. I always kept my moto g on vibration as I could even hear it vibrating from a distance. But the vibration on P1 is weak. I don't realize phone is vibrating if I am in an auto or on bike and phone s in my pocket.
Also, you won't hear it vibrating even if you keep it slightly out of your reach.

The Huawei Honor 7 is the better built phone with a brilliant fingerprint reader but the battery barely lasts 12 hours with heavy use..

It could be all apps except system update are disabled, you could have accidentally clicked the disable all or enable all toggle switch.
