I have done the 33mb update and I found a slight battery improvement.. now 42 mb update is available.. may I go for it??

I agree 8 hours screen on time.
On less to moderate usage phone lasts upto 30-36 hours

I put few comments earlier that phone was auto switching off at 15% battery.
Called up lenovo tech centre and they told that it was due to some third party app. Not a lenovo issue.
And really it turned out to be an app issue.
Now it is not getting switched off.

AnonD-486302, 09 Jan 2016Hey go for the latest 49 mb update... It actually improves battery life and processing speed..Previous update was a pain. Brough some lag during app switch. So I am a bit hesitant to update this time.
Will wait for more opinions.

Great phone...but after update of about 215+33+38+40mb....battery seems to drain fast not too much but %age drop is somehow quick

I read an article about how to take care the P1 LIpo battery. It is good to charge your phone when the battery life drops to 10‰-20‰ and it is not good to deplete all your battery before charging. It is not good to over charge the phone. I install an app to remind me when my phone is charged until 98‰ so that I will stop charging my phone when it is not fully charge.

No warranty ? spend a bit more , always stick with legal distributor warranty. Dont misleading here please. i'm not the first one who brought Lenovo product , i got Z510 notebook , Y510P notebook , A5000 , K920 Z2pro (illegal import by seller , flash rom failed , bricked ) , Vibe P1 . the product is very good & solid quality.

Hi, i already got this phone. This is the best phone i use. Battery last long and only very fast charging. Only an hour the battery is full.
