It will be definitely longer than your normal phone unless you use S6 active, Apple iPhone 6 plus or Sony Z3/Z4 and compact series. The battery life of vibe P1 is on par with them but the phones price are much higher compare to P1, which is double or triple of the price.

As you can see how many satisfied vibe P1 users here and I am one of them. Apple phone is also made in China, so do not be too stereotyping. I used Samsung S3 and Iphone before, their battery life were sucks. The battery life of P1 is much better than note 4 and Iphone 6 even though their specs are better. The Vibe P1 spec is more than enough for running apps and heavy games. Imagine your phone specs are very good, but it only can last 5 to 8 hours compare to the P1 with the normal spec that can last for at least 10 hours on screen. It is value for money to buy P1.

China phone does not mean the quality of the phone is bad. Apple phone also made in China. I bought the vibe p1, because the value of the money and it suit my need which is long battery life. I used Samsung S3 before, the battery life was suck. I compare my battery life with Note 5, and iPhone 6, vibe P1 battery last longer than them although their the specs are better. The spec of vibe p1 is worth than money value as it can run apps and heavy games smoothly.

I have been buying different phones for more than 4 months, testing and testing, searching for a phone with a great battery duration. I finally found that doesn't exist. If you want a great battery phone, you need to go to chinese brands. And chinese brands are horrible: Innos, Oukitel, Lenovo, Asus... If you buy that kind of phones you will be subjected to failures like the one you were talking about previously. I finally bought a normal phone with a normal battery and the good thing is that it doesn't have any failure.
