Big Disadvantage of Lenovo Vibe S1, they do not provide any feature to recover/reset password/unlock the pattern lock using Google/GMAIL account. I tried several attempt to unlock the phone by drawing different patterns to trigger a recover option such as "Forgot pattern lock?" but it didn't came so Finally i called to Lenovo Technical Service Center they told me there is no option to recover you data or to reset your password using Google Account and there is only one option, they suggested to go through hard reset to use it again and all internal/phone storage data will be lost. That's is a big disadvantage of Lenovo Vibe S1 in comparison of others. i will suggest to every one, please do not purchase Lenovo Vibe S1.

Guys I got Marshmallow OTA yesterday in dubai. So far the performance is outstanding as compared to Lollipop. I got two new themes and Two UI option Vibe UI and Android IU. The update weigh 1610 MB and brought the Build no. S228.

Some displays have a slightly blueish tinted display, this is actually harmful for the eye.
From what you said, it seems the vibe s1 has a colder color temperature display. This means more brightness, but higher eye strain.
Search in google about the effects of bluelight

It is a high end flagship phone from lenovo but still it lacks basic features like gorilla glass , nfc , ir blaster , OIS etc.
