I ma using Vibe X3 since 5 months , i have not done a single update till now ... moreDon't go for upgrade... Wait until any fix comes for Marshmallow then upgrade to Marshmallow then update that fix.
There are many bugs in Marshmallow.

Bharath, 12 Jul 2016Me also getting "Screen overlay" I can't able open my contact details also... what's the fuck ... moreHi for screen overlay problem the following has worked for few of them:
1. go to apps and press the settings ( gear symbol on the right) and you can find draw over other apps. Select that and change the same to 'no' for wide touch. For some this has worked.
2. Else change to no for all apps listed and then try to allocate permissions tour apps which may work.
3. In my case both the above didn't work.
Finally, found out that the floating button on the screen for switching between secure zone to open Zone was the culprit in my case. Removed the same by disabling it in settings.
Problem is now solved for me. Hope one of the above solution works for you.

HI Friends ,
I ma using Vibe X3 since 5 months , i have not done a single update till now and my phone is working fit and fine till now with no issue's .
Now with marshmallow update i am tempt for a new version 6.0.1 so suggest me friend's should i go on update to marshmallow or not .

AnonD-510719, 12 Jul 2016i am facing no issue as well.Ok, no issues at all.Its just that so many other users are facing issues with the phone like the last update 317 mb. Yes every phone heats up after some heavy usage but it can be tweaked by software updates like Sony did with Xperia z ultra. Hope lenovo takes it seriously and rectifies it asap.

It is the very best phone which beats all flagships with factors like gaming ,performance ,multitasking and moreover best for music lovers like me ,if u too love listenning to music while gaming and watching movies ,my suggestion for u would be ,buy it and update it to marshmallow it is very butter smooth and no issues only for the ram usage
lenovo will rollout updates for this phone this is not budget mobile it is a flagship model so updates gauranteed !!

After Update Phone Works Smoothly and improved Battery Performance,but some little new bugs comes out with the update,like finger print not work properly as it before update,camera needs more time for processing.hope so lenovo fix it in future fix update...
From me thump's up to Marshmallow update.

Govindh, 11 Jul 2016Guyz with none of ur opinions i updated to marshmellow ,got excellent results ,no battery drai... moreMaybe ur phone doesn't got any issues after d update but what about hundreds of other users who are reporting issues in their phones after the update. I bought my phone next day after it was launched on Amazon. I know the device inside out since I am a telecom engineer. I know about the bugs and shortcomings of the phone. Do not degrade others if you don't have any issues. Let the manufacturer decide what to do.
