And once flashed with Darkmoon Kernel it easily outruns Mi5S Plus in terms of performance. As for camera performance on custom ROMs, well ZUK devices are the only devices with camera blobs readily available as flashable zip, so no problem in case of camera quality on custom ROMs either.

GeekyNerd, 03 Oct 2017If you were to choose between the two, based on the hardware speculations, which one would you... moreZUK Z2 Pro for the better size (I prefer a phone I can use single-handed) and also for the fact that it has all the European LTE bands. Specs don't seem radically different otherwise, apart from the bigger battery capacity on the Xiaomi.
Ignoring the fact that the 128 GB version of Mi 5s Plus is almost twice as expensive as the Zuk Z2 Pro, I'd take it. Now I just need to find someone to pay the difference ;-)
If you were to choose between the two, based on the hardware speculations, which one would you pick? Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus or ZUK Z2 Pro? Please answer :)

hi, i know zuk rumored to be killed by lenovo, but this phone is so cheap in terms of specifications. imma buy me one anyway. I mean i could find similar spec in xioami devices at the same price maybe cheaper, but but the thing is, i'm in need of SuperAMOLED display, so i really need to know the SuperAMOLED quality, is it the same quality with those in Samsung devices? or is there any site you could refer me to a detail review of ZUK Z2 pro display? thx.
Update: Is possible to login to ZUI U-Health. But the email login option is really small and is positioned on the bottom of the page.
Yes, it's possible to upgrade to Stock Rom Android 7.0 with QFil application, but you will find this problems:
- Rom in Chinese by default. (You have to find how to change it to english by using the chinese menu.
- No Google apps included
- I wasn't able to sync the contacts. Had to use a third party app.
- ZUI U-Health doesn't work anymore because I can't login with a non-chinese phone number.
- Problems with access to notifications.
If your phone came with international rom on android 6.0 you can flash stock cn/en rom on android 7.0 using qfil method. Everything is explained on zukfans forum. It is easy to unlock bootloader if you want.

My zuk z 2 pro arrived with a "international" rom, ie very badly translated (french-english and chineese mess !) and just EMPY with :
no gallery app
no music app
no "update" in the settings
WORSE: the bootloader is locked so NO WAY to recover by myself!
and after a reboot, it looped the blue Zuk Logo. What a shame for such an impressive phone on paper! I asked to get it repaired and with the more "sane" indonesian rom or to be refund. It's a pity case with a stock android rom, would be a bomb!
