it's a really fast satisfactory phone...
the media player isn't anything to write home about though....
it's a pretty design... make sure the bluetooth is working correctly when you recieve it though, and make sure the screen doesn't wobble too much from the body... if it does lg will send you a new one in trade...

Ya i'm disappointed in the music on this phone. I'm getting the Sony Ericsson W760i soon because of the poor loudness of music.

If you got it unlocked and are not using it with At&t that is most liekly the problem. It somehow can't connect to the proper network to receive/send. I hear you can fix it with a speacial code... but I just decieded to give up on unlocked phones...

this phone is great but mine is not letting me send any pics or songs also it does not let me get pics from friends this makes me very mad do any of u have a way of fixing it?

this phone is very nice..BUT scratches very easily. and gets SUPER HOT when charger and..HOTTER when charging and talking at the same time ...i dont like it any more...and now my lcd screen is cracked and i did not drop it.

I bought the LG shine November,2007. It's a beautiful phone. The 2 problems I had with it were 1. bluetooth did not work well with the Shine. 2. The phone turns off automatically. The only way you turn it on again is to take the battery out, then put it back in & then turn the phone on. Other than that, it works pretty well & is a nice eye catching & sturdy phone.

jj, 08 May 2008i was wondering what is the difference between all the shines?theres not much difference between the shines. this shine wit the circular thingie is a bit thicker than the other shine and also a bit crappier. on the other hand the other shines are thinner. theres one with the front and back camera and one with only one camera... other than that they all function the same

Really nice phone - looks great and feels great. Unlike most other phones out there which are made up of mostly plastic, this one actually has some substance to it. Screen is gorgeous and the camera is great too.
My only gripe with the phone is the somewhat bad call quality. It is passable, but not as good as the call quality of my old Sony Ericsson. (an inferior phone in all other aspects) The keypad isn't that great, but I don't do any texting, so it doesn't really matter for me.
