it actually is not, 05 Mar 2015No, it is not a good phone by any means.
It is fast, has a nice screen and an ok battery life... moreAre you sure you're not suffering from parkinson??? Just kidding, but half of your long text is telling us dumb LG G2 fans how you dropped your phone for 3 times...
Of course it's not a perfect phone - do you know any? But for a year and half phone, it's a fantastic machine, with a superb full HD 5,2" screen (with one of the best body-to-screen ratios, even today), a very good battery, a very fast qualcomm 800 processor and a unique design, with the back keys (like it or not, it's different!). Most of all, it's a phone that, side by side with 10 other phones, it's immediately recognizable...
Even today, i run Antutu and scored 38952 points, even ahead of the LG G3 - and you feel it, it's very snappy phone for everything you need - by the way, you have MANY other keyboards on the playstore, I recommend you Swiftkey or even the Google Keyboard...
So, I don't agree with you. It has some flaws, of course, but overall, has many, many qualities and Ivm proud of owning it!

preet, 05 Mar 2015I was also worried about hving this phone because i was thinking to buy nexus t two.. then i ... moreNo, it is not a good phone by any means.
It is fast, has a nice screen and an ok battery life but it is hell on earth to live with it.
Camera has such a slow autofocus it is unusable for any moving objects.
Shutter times are so long you can only use the camera for landscape photography, so the OIS is useless.
Keyboard os dreadful, very badly designed, too small keys and you can't have both the period and coma appear on it. That is unacceptable. And why is it I need to press a key to change keyboard languages when any Sony can automatically switch between languages and even my old Blackberry PlayBook already handled 2 languages at the same time?!
Then, there are the design issues... This damn this is so slipery I broke the original lcd twice! It felt to the floor and broke at the first time I let it slip... It was still usable so I kept using it while I waited for a replacement and before it arrived the stupid G2 and fallen again and the digitiser was rendered useless.
Replacement arrived and couldn't be properly installed so I ordered a 3rd screen and there is no way the thing would properly glue to the phone chassis... And guess what happened in 3 weeks time?
Yes! It felt again again, due to the glazing on the back being so slippery and lcd is already showing signs of malfunction.
By the way, I use other smartphone and never let them fall, so the problem is not me, is the design of this phone.
As a result, I stopped using it in favour of a modest but properly developed Sony M2.
I was also worried about hving this phone because i was thinking to buy nexus t two.. then i decided to buy g2.. its the best phone.. no hanging problem.. bettry backup is awsm .. nd camera is also a pretty gud.. go for it guys
k, 03 Mar 2015Sadly no SD slot just like S6.Like iPhone, LG G2 32 GB I think has enough memory although doesn't has memory card slot. My friend told me, an available microSD slot smartphone is slower than non microSD slot samrtphone.
got g2 for 10 months by now.
and past 3 weeks were disaster with its screen flickering issue.
already contact lg customer service, my phone's mainboard need to be replaced. been waiting for 3 weeks for the replacement. still counting though.....
AnonD-327237, 02 Mar 2015Why everyone want lollipop, still have same apps, same games, have 2 nexus devices with lollipop,... more I agree with you and will not update to lollipop if it does come to the G2. Also have Nexus 7 with it and don't really like it. The changes in the toggles, setting, and just the look of it I don't like. Android since ICS has had the same look, maybe I just got use to it. My G2 is great as is. Don't want to screw it up. When a new phone is set up ,it is set to run a certain os and checked out before we get it. New updates may not be, fully.
If the LG G2 was released today it'd still be a competitive phone. Years pass and this thing just doesn't get outclassed. Unfortunately the software needs a little work, but that shouldn't stop anyone with half a brain from getting the most out of it.

The Xperia Z took around 3 hours more to be fully charged from below 20%, if I charged it while playing, it could take more than 4 hours.
LG G2 I found several times (not frequently) took charged more than 4 hours while in low using it while charging.
