LG G2 is phone of the year....
Honami isnt compact...its is bulkier enough that I can get bigger 5.7 inch screen at the same size...so I'll consider it in phablet segment.
ANOTHER EXPERT SAID
LG fights back here with their excellent 5.2" full HD IPS display that makes the 5" Samsung Super AMOLED display look a little outdated. It's not the small size difference we're talking about, the and the phones have near identical pixel density, but the LG G2 display is one of the nicest phone displays on the market. It easily matches the lovely HTC One for quality and we slightly prefer the G2's even more balanced colors and whites that are white. The Samsung Galaxy S4's PenTile matrix and exaggerated colors make for grayish whites, sometimes cartoony colors and less clear text (though text clarity is more than acceptable on the GS4).
IPS displays are much more viewable outdoors in sunlight as well, while Super AMOLED displays fade out. Viewing angles on both are very good, and Samsung claims a point back for offering the "works with gloves" feature. The LG G2 will work with very thin gloves (ladies dress gloves) but not hearty gloves.
Winner: LG G2
watch this video @5;40 minutes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmngohhfx4e
and see the whites on S4 vs whites on G2!
and come back...
SUPER AMOLED TOTALLY LOOKS SHIT.....
Read the arstecnica review. Seems LG wasn't really listening and kludged a lot of this phone.
Hey folks Shhhhhhhhh! Thats why i prefer Gsm Arena's review they put BOTH together good bad etc then allows YOU yes YOU to chose keep up the good work guys and if a lady is on board yet would chose S4 due to quicker updates removable battery and Microcard slot
AnonD-187426, 17 Sep 2013I personally love the G2.
My girlfriend got one, and I explored the device quite thoroughly, ... morehow can i get the Korean model. i wanted to do the same thing but have not found the model number that will work on the USA ATT 3G. No one has been able to answer me. i buy phones from Hong Kong but even they were not sure.
its the best...trust me nothing can be compared to this LG when it comes to Android smartphones.
sunny, 15 Sep 2013does any one know what model works on ATT USA 3G that has a removable battery and microSD? i ... moreThere are 2 models of the LG G2
That's it. The f320 is meant for Korea. If it doesn't support the AT&T frequencies then forget it. This is why in the US they're selling the D802.
32GB is plenty. Just back up your videos. If you never back up anything you'll end up with a pile a foot high of micro SD cards. At some point you have to take it off the phone and put it somewhere else.
Bal, 14 Sep 2013LG nexus 4Nexus 4 is dead in about 3-3:30hrs of screen on time.

The way is to manage your data in the phone. You need to back up your pictures and videos to your computer.
Take out all the videos except the ones you watch on a regular basis.
I have a bunch or vacation videos. All of them are in my laptop. I have no videos in my phone. Why? Because they sit there and I never watch them. All they do is take up gigabytes of space.
AnonD-111968, 17 Sep 2013Ok you have your point, but what are u gonna do if your G2 dies completely, what will happen t... moreIt is good practice to back up your phone anyway. Why would you want gigabytes of 2 year old videos you never watch taking up space in your phone?
The only thing an sd card is good for is being able to quickly go to a place as develop pictures, but then nobody does that anymore.
32GB should be plenty. You can have 2,000 song and 2,000 pictures and a bunch or videos and still have space to spare.
The biggest thing is videos. Again; take them. Put them in your laptop.
Yow come the Video Recording ties between these two where the G2 has clearly an advantage with its OIS techonology.
LG G2 is a clear winner in terms of Display, Battery, Camera, Video, Design, Software and Performance.
This comparison seems to be biased. There is no way S4's camera is equal to the G2's. G2 is much hetter than the S4 and even yhe Note III's!
Anonymous, 17 Sep 2013Because removable batteries and Micro-SD slots are inefficient uses of space inside the phone.... moreOk you have your point, but what are u gonna do if your G2 dies completely, what will happen to your videos and photos. Can u guarantee that your cloud data is 100% private and safe? And not all people can afford to have mobile data plan which are very expensive. I want answer from LG mobile design team, why they opted out the microSD slot with this stunning G2. I can't wait to try this phone come 20th Sept.
AnonD-187426, 17 Sep 2013I personally love the G2. My girlfriend got one, and I explored the device quite thoroughly, ... moreI would not choose G2 because it's faster than the other, but it's huge screen-to-body ratio, it's dimension is similar to S4 but it's screen is larger and it's more comfortable to use. The note 3's width of 79 mm is too big too uneasy to use with one hand. Note 3 no OIS, but I love note 3 in terms of memory with 32GB internal + 64 GB external, G2 international version can only dream of.
I personally love the G2.
My girlfriend got one, and I explored the device quite thoroughly, it's impressively fast, as the other reviews say, it's a learning curve for the buttons, but I figured it out in ~15 minutes... I wish I could adjust the screen modes like I can on my Samsung phones (Dynamic, Standard, Natural and Movie). I'm sure a custom ROM would fix this, but my girlfriend is too afraid I'll destroy her phone since I broke and fixed my own SGS2 and SG Note 2 so many time, haha...
The Korean models do come with a 64GB expandable MicroSD card slot, and they include 2 batteries (the Korean models do have the removable batteries).
I'm currently considering this or the Note 3 that comes out on September 25th in Korea.
