AnonD-180073, 28 Aug 2013Looks like a great phone. I wonder if you can replace battery? And as far as I can tell no me... morethe korean version will have removable battery.

Why LG in their presentation keep say we listen to you to what you need to make this phone. Must of listen with one ear.
LG G2 is way better than GS4,HTC One, Xperia Z, Iphone 5S, etc... And always the cheapest during release, at less than 900SGD. I've waited for 3 years before buying my first and last real smartphone and it will be the LG G2 even though it has only 32 GB.

Looks like a great phone. I wonder if you can replace battery? And as far as I can tell no memory card to put in :/.
How is the glass. I had LG Optimus G, dropped it twicw and both the times broke the front glass and back glass cracked coz of temperature difference oe something. Not getting it fixed any more as it is very expensive and difficult to find a glass for white handset. :(Really want to go for this next version of LG. Does anybody know about the glass quality?
its really annoying to know that until now the designer of this model is so rude enough not to put sd card which is the trend in almost all phones today. no matter how good you think this model is if no sdcard i won't buy this phone because this is for me a static memory...
This phone seems to be amazing, a shame for no sd card slot though...
lg please provide either sd slot or 64 gb user available memory on g2 worldwide.
lg put great features but less memory. they should release korean version with 3000 mah battery worldwide which have sd slot instead of 24 gb version with no card slot. great features but always makes small mistakes.
AnonD-111968, 27 Aug 2013I wonder why LG decided not to put a card slot on the international version, compared to the G... moreIMHO it is because of US.
US like no sdcard slot, see ipon, new motorola droid, htc one, lumia 9xx-10xx
i don't know why they like limited storage and don't have the freedom to change their own battery.
most people tend to use their smartphone just as a phone, calling and texting.
while more users who used to work with smartphone use their phone like a mini PC, mean we need more storage cause we want to bring more multimedia contents, data and etc.
i don't play games in my smartphone, and 32gb is not enough, i have to save hundred of screen capture everyday and that's one of the main reason i like lg smartphone because they have screencapture hardware button plus the screen is no tall so it easier to type because in my business i have to type alot, so saving hundred screencapture per day plus hundred of notes makes my 32gb optimus vu cannot store any music and movie. no sdcard is really defeat the purpose of having a smartphone for works.
goron, 27 Aug 2013goshhh beautiful good spec phone but no sdcard... i hope all G2 for asia will have sdcard slo... moreI wonder why LG decided not to put a card slot on the international version, compared to the GS4, G2 is 1mm thicker. Is there not enough room for a card slot, is it due to the 3000 mAh battery? or they want us to make use of their cloud storage which is impractical for those who are not constantly online. It is strange, GS4 is thinner yet it has a removable battery and a card slot. The best thing LG could do is to release globally the international version together with the Korean version(32GB internal with a card slot).
goshhh beautiful good spec phone but no sdcard...
i hope all G2 for asia will have sdcard slot and removable battery.
LG should learn not from human but from HTC poor sell.
what happen when manufactures start to limit user freedom? drop down to buttom
i'm using LG optimus vu p895 now, and 32gb is not enough. super hate no sdcard phones.
what about this...
Again this great phone except no external memory slots. Following is link to Clove selling LG Optimus G 2 with 16GB internal memory and no external slots:
It is ashame to see LG try make it big but missing such simple feature. In there presentation in N.Y keep saying listening to you but how could miss this?
IDK about some of these people on here talking about no sd card for the US, its's the US people order it online from Korea it my end up being cheaper. I'm on T-Mobile so where I get my phone doesn't matter as long as I can put my sim card in..
Now I'm just waiting on the Note 3 to see what it gots.
The specs look amazing, but why would LG not want to sell the Korean version worldwide?
- costs less to make/sell/maintain just one product worldwide and at home
- swap out the battery for a spare battery (kept in your pocket) without having to plug the device in
- replace the battery when it starts to deteriorate after a year or so
- micro sd slot for expandable storage
I think that the 3000mAh stepped battery was put in purely for marketing reasons, so that the G2 can game the specs and post a battery life which outpaces the competition. In order to do that, they had to remove the micro SD slot to make room.
Riz RiyMod, 25 Aug 2013Dear All, there are 3 Versions in Korea, all are "Much Better Than International Version&... moreHope LG release any of these version in addition to the international model. If LG doesn't listen and insist on releasing globally the international model only, then they suffer profit loss. No card slot is a sign of company's weakness. Who would think that a 32 GB without a card slot is better or on par with the one having a card slot and a 32 GB internal memory. A buyer would always check every feature a phone has. And having no memory is a negative sign that customer will be discouraged to buy. The reason why customers need an expandable memory is very simple, PEACE of mind, when u have a 64 uSD card backup u wouldn't worry that u will be out of memory and u will not be stressed on optimizing our limited 32 GB. Why would LG deprive their international customers of such a basic feature, and having card slot is also good in the event that u need to reset your phone, your data won't be wiped out because they are saved in the uSD. I challenge anyone in this forum to discredit my view. Assuming there are 2 models available, which one would a buyer choose if he wanted an LG G2, I believe he would chose the one with uSD slot.
