Anonymous, 30 Oct 2015please house, how can i activate LTE in my lg g2 d802In the Settings- Mobile Network and so on. Try to dig around. Also make sure the phone has the right frequencies for your area and your sim is LTE-capable (simcard issued during the past few years usually are, but if you have an older one, you might need to get it replaced). If nothing else helps, you can access hidden menu or testing menu and set the preferred network to LTE there (but you risk disabling the phone's connectivity altogether should you set something wrong, so try to read up on it first).
So, here I am again with my little report on the use of Cloudy G2 3.3
First thing I noticed were the overall aestetics. The animations feel more snappy and lively for me than they did on stock 5.0.2 but the icons were a letdown. I liked the circular design of the old icons, whereas the Cloudy icons are all much more Material-like which means rather cumbersome blocks. But I have to admit, that overall the Material design seems to be much better implemented and consisten than it was on the stock Lollipop.
Next in line are the LG gimmicks. There are lots of improvements regarding the buil-tin functions and features such as calculator or remote control. To list some of the new ones, there's a "disk sweeper" utility, Dual Window apps (that one is pretty useful), LG Health (mostly pedometer always reminding you to move that ass) and Smart Bulletin (additional screen with some appointment widgets, aforementioned pedometer and such). On the other hand... I'm not sure if I misclicked during the installation or if Cloudyfa just took the "debloating" of his ROM a bit too far but along with tons of Googleware, the stock App Manager dissappeared too and I really missed that one. There are more ways to replace it but I don't know, I just liked the old one for its simplicity and speed. But reinstalling it was straightforward enough (should somebody need the App Manager files, give me a holler, I might yet find them and send them to you). Otherwise, Cloudyfa's debloating seems fairly sensible to me.
Last gimmick I'm going to mention is the Viper4Android. That one really hit the spot. It's an app designed for audio tweaks and if you set it up right, it really, really improves the sound output. But if you want to try the app, you should refrain from just ramping everything to max, because if you overdo it, it might damage your hearing and/or the phone. Especially in combination with other "loudness boosters" out there.
Finally, the performance. I have to agree, the ROM is a powerhog. Especially with the Viper enabled. But if you flash yourself some third party Kernel such as the Dorimanx, it can be tweaked very well. I read up a bit on stuff like the CPU governors, hotplugs and such and then I fixed myself a little "battery saving" profile with some CPU underclocking and workload distribution tweaks. With this, I lost about 13% in Antutu, but the phone lasted well over two times as long (both in SOT and overall on state) when compared to its default.
PS. If you want to use Xposed, you don't have to check that "prepare for xposed" checkbox during the installation. They already fixed the problem in the latest release of Xposed so there is no further need to disable LG Weather and Quick Cover support, except if you don't like them.
PPS. I use WiFi so I guess I can't really vouch for 3G/LTE functionality but other services such as WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS work just fine.
Yeah, Sony is fairly good when it comes to software maintenance of their flagship lines. But you have to overcome the spyware cases, hardware lottery, too much hardware crippling of their midrangers and possible killswitches in their flagship lines first.
most of u are right sony is the best for updates..is proving it and it is amazing what they are doing ...the aosp project providing 6.0 builds even for older devices like xperia s xd this is really good,....sammy has a bad update track with their devices...motorola is keeping it up with its top and mid range line but.. but... lg is disspointing me ..im a lg user proud of my lg g2 but ..i dont approve the way lg does things regarding updates....never provide an official list their customer have to become wise guys and surf network companies support pages like t-mobile in order to find out if a device will be updated or not.. besides they dont update devices at all and there is not repect for flagships devices.. how come that they rolled out .. 5.1.1 update for a few midrangers and still g2 has no sign of getting it...now we dont know if lg will have mercy with us and will give us 6.0 thats why there is delay with the update....come on atleast lets us know if we have a chnage to receive an update like other companies did already.

kim27, 27 Oct 2015I have a problem with my phone LG G2, when I turn off the phone and stayed it off for about 4h... moreMaby its set to auto time.
Try setting the time manualy instead.
At this time of year globaly time zones change to winter time/summer time which may also be the cause of the problem.
Ive had time issues with this several times wth several devices.
It may also prevent you from using things like the play store if it thinks your time is wrong.
So set itmanual and see if that changes anything.
If it doesnt remember the time then something strange is happening.
If you'll have a chance to buy this phone just buy it. Even now it is one of the best high end handsets. Mine has 1.5 years and it has been through a lot with me. Awesome battery life even without battery saving features ON. Few times hit the groound, got soaked and still working more than fine. Awesome!! First time in my life I don't have any need to change smartphone.
I have a problem with my phone LG G2, when I turn off the phone and stayed it off for about 4hrs to 10hrs and when I turned it on again, the time and date are wrong.
For example I sleep at the time of 22:00 October 26 and when I woke up and turn the phone on the time will be 13:26 October 26 or something like that!!!
But when I turn on the Wi-Fi the date and time will be corrected?!? Please help me!!! Our internet connection will be cut this December and I can't pay for it but the problem is why do I have to connect to WiFi just to correct the time?
I'm using LG G2 android version 5.0.2 D-802 32GB
This date and time is bothering me and I tried factory reset but still the problem won't go away
Please help and sorry for bad English

lg user, 23 Oct 2015thanks for the information ill try to keep my phone in 5.0.2 it is good after all,any way lg w... moreWell, even Cloudy is still 5.0.2. :D It's based on the official ROM so it possibly won't ever introduce any Android version that was not released on the phone by LG. The only way to get 5.1 or even 6.0 as of now are the AOSP-based ROMs which tend to be somewhat barebone and the more gimmicky features such as the camera are usually pretty much horrid.
Okay. So i just installed Cloudy G2 3.3 and the latest version Dorimanx Kernel. So far so good. I like the new features, especially the dual window. That is definitely handy, but it will require few days of fiddling with the new dials. If you'd like, I could try to come back here after a few days and give more detailed report of what works, what does not and how well it fares against the stock build.
