Paul, 31 Jul 2015Hello, I work for LG Austria, and I would tell you not to upgrade to lollipop in Pakistan. Wai... moreDear Paul,
I am planning to buy LG G2. But after reading the user reviews about this phone that it encountered a common LCD touch problem after few months i am very worried about this. Can you please tell me why it happens and whether i should buy it????
I am not a user who changes mobile phones frequently thats the reason why i am in search for a phone which can give me a good time (At least 2 years).
I just bought an lg g2 today and it is 16gb but when I go to settings in storage it shows to me that total space is 10.62gb. What is the problem?
I think you should. I am a big fan too, it's a great phone all around, cheap too. I have it for 3 months now, installed BlissPop ROM (LP 5.1). Everything runs smooth and steady. I just don't see the necesity to buy something new and expensive, as there will be phones better than yours almost imidiately. And the prices drop in an instant... I did alot of research for my personal needs with phones that were released 2013-2014 and G2 had the most positive points.
I am a big fan of lg g2, and planning to buy it.. but after reading the reviews here specialy about the touch problems, i am confused.. should i go for it or not??
I went through Lollipop upgrade hell for abut two weeks before it got better. Upgraded on July 6th and did 209 files. Five days later another upgrade happened and 25 files upgraded. Since that time there have been 12 or 15 short upgrades to fix issues. An online chat with LG Cust. Support admitted it was a buggy (her words) upgrade but Google was working on a fix. That was three weeks ago and since then the phone has been rock solid and the best phone I've ever used. Before the fix, the worst.

downloan the pg suite on your compkuter. Please do not download the latest version the one before that is better. then just connect your phone to your laptop with your charging wire and open pg suite program. then go to the "check for updates" and download the available version. dont worry, once you there everythign else will come by themselves. good luck

There are many people who had wide range of problems with the LP upgrade. And there are many people who had no problems. This points out that the problems are caused by something other than the system itself- likely some old out-of-date apps but people are still blaming the system for almost anything that is not just like KitKat.

Excellent phone with many support from the open source community to root, install custom recovery, and custom ROMS available in the XDA forums. Supported officially by Cyanogenmod, and I'm now on official Lollipop 5.5.1 using CM12.1 nightlies. very stable on my D802 phone, with excellent battery life!
i have been seeing a lot of not so good feedback about lollipop, is it really that bad? should i just stay for the meantime to kitkat?
Im currently using cloudyg2 3.3(lollipop 5.0.2) and the battery life sucks. I flashed dorimanx kernel and it has tweaks for fast charging up to 1500ma+ if you'll use Ampere App. Can i revert back to stock LG lollipop from cloudyg2 3.3?
