ketu, 26 May 2015Shall I buy LG g2 or not???Depends on the price in your country.
For me it was a phone that was priced some 20% over the midrange devices and offered hardware specs that were still VERY competitive against flagship devices of twice the price point.
At that point it had one of the best bang per buck ratios on the market.
So if your situation is similar, then... why not? It's still a powerful device, display is nice and vibrant, battery life can last well over two days of moderate use, it has decent camera with RAW capability, got official Android 5.0.2 update, there's fair share of developer community working on it and recently they released some pretty interesting custom ROMs running Android 5.1.1
What's not to love? The main disadvantages are unremovable battery and no SD card slot, but the phone supports OTG so you can plug-in a flash drive, external card reader and I've already seen one guy who succesfully used 1TB Western Digital HDD with the phone (but the juice coming through the micro USB is not sufficient, the drive had to be supported by auxiliary power source- another USB wired to the circuit)
after updating to lollipop and doing a factory reset the device became smoother and faster than ever and the battery last longer (V30A via LG PC Suite)

Have been using the 5.0.2 Lollipop update for 5 days or so and i am happy to say that my device
9D802) is completely stable . Battery life unlike many is fine and overall device responsiveness is still Flagship Grade with no lags.
UI is cleaner, smoother and much better looking.
Those who are looking to install Lollipop plz do a fresh install to avoid errors or atleat do a full factory reset after installation.
The LG Keyboard is awfull as always and i recommend the Swiftkey.
Camera still lags in Low Light but Xcam Works fine to slove this problem.

Don't buy G2 D805 (Latin America) if you want to use VoIP apps. Since upgraded to Kitkat no more Skype, Viber, WhatsApp voice, Hangouts voice. There are many complains on the forums, but LG does nothing to solve the issue.
