A few reviews on the 8 megapixel G2 Mini said it
has good sharp pictures a bit better than Samsung S 4 Mini so I am wondering if they fine tuned the software for the Mini a bit especially HDR Mode looks pretty good on some samples.
Also on the 13 megapixel LG Mini Tegra is it the,Sensor from the G2 or the Optimus G ?
Cause if the Tegra ( LG D 625 ) is close to G2 that would be a nice little Camera .

Yeah I know LG g is better than G2 mini but in terms... moreOptimus G is way better than G2 Mini, here's why:
-G2M uses Snapdragon 400 while OG uses Snapdragon S4 Pro, wnich is basically Snapdragon 600 under different name, the same that Galaxy S4 and HTC One use. It's about twice as powerful.
-G2M has Adreno 305, while OG has Adreno 320 wnich is over twice as fast
-G2M has 4.7" 960x540 screen, while OG at the same size has 1280x768 resolution. Both phone use same technology.
-G2M has only 8GB of onboard memory, while OG has 32GB.
-G2M has 1GB, while OG has twice as that - 2GB, with more ram apps won't close as often, and the transition between them is going to be faster
-G2M has 8mpx camera, while OG has 13mpx. Both use nearly the same sensor, so you'll have very simmilar quality only that the OG's photos will have higher resolution
-Both support LTE, NFC, etc, etc
-OG has better developer support
-G2 non-mini and Optimus G has really good build quality and nice feel to them. G2 Mini feels like a cheap knock-off. Of course none of them are as good in build quality as HTC One.
Currently I'm using G2 and I can say that it's the best phone I've ever had, and while it's plastic it's quite sturdy. I dropped it a dozen of times and not a scratch (I use Nillkin case wnich I got in Japan and it's great). Previously I had Optimus G wnich was also a really good phone, but when G2 came, I sold it to my friend and he's super happy with it. Meanwhile, the G2 Mini is shit, just like S4 Mini, One mini and every other Mini is. Don't buy anything with Mini in its name, I tell all my friends that G2 Mini is shit (because it is, and I've tested it) even though I have regular G2. The only good Mini out there is Xperia Z1 Compact. If you want a good phone, just get the Optimus G and slap a custom ROM on it, after that it works like dream.

What should I buy, g2 mini or optimus g?
Yeah I know LG g is better than G2 mini but in terms of the design, g2 mini is more advanced than the optimus g and besides I watched a video on YouTube and I saw that when they updated the LG g it became like a nexus phone and the essence of LG has been removed I mean like the lockscreen animation and the app drawer and also the camera.

Slim and decent battery life, another thing is the Knock Code and Knock ON.

Anonymous, 26 May 2014what is must to have g2 mini or samsung grand 2 duos pls help meDefinetely G2 Mini, maybe the resolution is lower, but it has Gorilla Glass 2 and IPS Display, while Grand 2 is TFT, and you got the beautiful + useful design of G2(the flagship), it has all the features of G2, trust me, you wouldn't regret if you buy G2 Mini.
