puzzy 1, 10 Jun 2015i just bought this fon 3 days ago and the battery drains very fast. can someone tell me how to... moreThis phone (G3) is famous for that only.
Force stop and disable all the unnecessary apps like google - play music, play books, chrome, drive, gmail, calendar sync, contact sync, play games, play movies and TV, play newsstand, search, text to speech engine, google+, hangouts ; then disable smartshare.cloud, talkback.
Thats all can be done. Also disable vibration for all alerts and set the display off time to 30 seconds.

i just bought this fon 3 days ago and the battery drains very fast. can someone tell me how to manage the battery. i hv not upgraded to lollipop yet. i love everything about the fon so pls help
In stock form (Android 4.1) the LG G3 (I have the T-Mobile D-851) is an absolutely amazing phone !!
However when you upgrade to Lollipop it very very quickly all goes south.
In all my years of using cellphones I have never experienced such a terrible upgrade in my entire life ! It's almost like they're trying to kill your phone on purpose !!!
For one you can forget about ever scrolling again as the slightest touch results inevitably in a click each and every single time. And you know that 'long click'that we all love to use in Android ? You can forget about that also as by my count it took about 35 attempts to move an icon !!!
And don't get me started on the typing issues !!
many more bad things happened to the point where I quickly reverted back to the original android that came loaded and was thankfully happy again as I was going to scrap the phone if I couldn't have done so.
As for LG's so called support, they ascribe to the 'everything is someone else's fault'system and are terminally horrible and hopeless.
So in short a great phone flawed by google's incomprehensible upgrade (Planned obsolence perhaps ??LOL)

Good phones with terrible support. LG pushed an update (Europe) and it hasnt charged since
Guest, 07 Jun 2015S5 or G3 is a better choice ? LG G3 if you want a bigger screen.
After this phone is paid-off via T-mobile I'm going back to iPhone. Actually I had the HTC One before which was amazing but the battery life was awful. Now here I am in same situation with horrible battery life, AND, there's no option to control music/podcasts on the lockscreen. I use Stitcher and Spotify and it would be so nice to be able to pause or skip without having to unlock the screen and open the app. Sure the voice quality is fine but I hardly ever talk on the phone. Maybe it's the latest Android update, I'm not sure, but what I am sure of is this is my last Android phone.
After 9 months of use, my phone got cracked in the microphone area. I am dismayed because G3 is such a beautiful phone. Nevertheless, i am still living it.

Guest, 07 Jun 2015S5 or G3 is a better choice ? I have owned the two ,both are good, you will be happy with either.
S5 smaller screen ,more responsive, better camera ,more useless apps.
Lg bigger screen ,less brighter ,no deep blacks, better interface ,ir remote more functinal, buttons layout better takes time to get used to .
Basicly they are the same
