LG G3 Phone Review
My idea of a good phone would have to be long lasting battery, fits nice in my hand, fast internet while connected or disconnected from wifi, nice look to it, holds lots of memory. With this phone I have experienced mostly good quality especially with the display of the screen, with saying that I mean as in the looks of photos, or when their is a glare outside from the sun. I also have enjoyed how it only has three main buttons that are located on the back of the phone which allows a really really easy button pressing. When I first got the phone the battery life was amazing and would last almost all day without dying but after a couple months the battery has kind of gone bad but iím sure thatís only because iíve been using a different charger that did not come with the phone.
Cons are that the phone often freezes for no reason and I have to take the battery out and restart the phone, sometimes the lock screen is unresponsive and wonít let me unlock the phone for a matter of a couple of minutes, the plastic back kind of feels cheap but iím not complaining too much, on the brightside all of the features work nicely. The speakers are amazing and very loud so I can just play music out loud all of the time so thatís good. Iíd have to give the phone an overall rating of 8.5789 specifically because it is probably the only good LG phone out there.
behold lg g3 users.

I have an lg g3 with model number LGLS990. Does anyone know what country this version is meant for. I got it online. It had to be unlocked for use. Now I want to update to lollipop and I am wondering whether I can use another version update from the LG official website. I don't want to use the LGLS990 update as it is a carrier update and may relock my phone. Is it safe to use a UK version update like LGD855. And by the way my phone is a 32gb/3gb Ram model. Any help please
I have LG G3 D855, after purchase 4.4.2 KK then prompted to upgrade to official 5.0 OTA then now running on it.
Great phone, great display, great UI interface, no overheating issues, above average battery, you can notice few lags but way better than Samsung Galaxy. I sold my GS 4 and upgraded to a better LG G3.
Almost forgot. Even in this warm countries with temperatures of 40 degrees in the shadow there is no overheating issue. People who hv this issue should check their phone or update the latest software.
I hv the d855 16 gig version and in most tests there is not really a differenz to 32gig in performance. Currently im in africa and im using the phone heavy, not for gaming but webtime. No one can complain about performance or display of this phone, but battery life is not the best cos of the useless 2k screen. Still im using on 30% brightness inside and automatic outside and its impossible to go the whole day from morning till evening without charging plus many lightoffs so you cant charge everywhere. So i went to see for a s5 or m8 or z3 cos of better batterylife.. BUT!! Once you use the g3 with its amazing bodyratio of 75% in almost the same dimensions you wont go back. The displays of the other ones were directly compared(and i took enough time for testing them all) dissapointing. They might be brighter but not as sharp and natural as g3. It might be subjective but i stay with my g3 and i hv bought a small powerbank. For now battery issues solved. Im waiting for yhe g4, and hope it will be an amazing phone with just more juice.

Gie, 29 Mar 2015I had my lg g3 in last month, and found that the battery is run out fast, had anyone also face... moreSome times when people talk about battery running out fast I wish they would say how many apps are installed as well as is their screen on full bright non stop is gps enabled all the time wifi etc etc etc. They seem to leave all this information out when they talk about battery life. Was it fully charged ? Did you use original charger and cable? How were you charging the unit ? Were you doing heaving gaming or a lot of photo recording ? Many things can come in to play to answer battery life.
Taking a picture you hold down the power button and
also the vol down rocker on the back of the unit.
It takes practice. If all you get is a power off option then you did not press correctly.
Also internally some units will allow a 3 finger swipe across the touch glass.
