I am not so impressed about my iPhone 5s as it lacks flexibility to me. I am a music lover and when I was a Galaxy user, I frequently download music straight from my Galaxy phone. But as I have said, I do not and will never back to Samsung as I have experience repetitive lag and hang issues due to low RAM and lag issues especially if you are in multiple apps (which I am not doing and am not a heavy user as well). As for my iPhone 5s, I am quite disappointed as I need to connect to a computer, download and sync musics using iTunes. I will give this phone a try and to be honest, I have never heard any issues about this phone. I am constantly reading tech blogs and weighing phones based on users opinions, specs and most especially my preference. I am also working in a UK Telecommunications company and from day to day basis, our customers do not have any complains about this phone. I most of the time receive technical issues amongst Galaxy handsets. Well, I am too wordy! So excited!!!

The setting is called "Screen Off Effect" can 3-4 options to choose from. So go ahead and give it a try!!
As for some conversing on battery times on stand by and usage, please understand "review numbers and ratings" are done in controlled environments to give us an "idea" of what to expect. The "actual" numbers clearly depend upon how an individual uses his/her phone. Mine for e.g. lasts 1.5-2 days based on Medium usage. I'm not a big gamer on smartphones kinda person so can't comment on battery usage there.

I have a colleague at work and when I hold the phone, all I can say is WOW! However, what I do not like about it is the way you unlock it using "Knock" because when you do it, it unlocks like a TV screen when you switched it on and off. That has made it awful to me. But overall, this is I guess good.

The phone is light and sleek, screen ia beautiful, great quality, and the processing speed is faster and with less lag and reboot as the newest samsgung. I've read all the forums and comparisons. I hope you love the phone as much as I do. Enjoy the ability to customize.
I am an apple iPhone 5s user and am planning to buy an android phone. Planning to get a Galaxy handset but have heard of its low RAM and lag issues. I found this phone--and to be honest it is fantastic to me. For those LG G3 users, is it good?
[deleted post]Then buy your E8/M8. It's just a matter of personal taste! I'm a proud G3 user, waiting for my network Smart to lollipop update.

To make it simpler to understand, say you're on Kitkat 4.4 and you received the Official Lollipop upgrade. Now you complete the upgrade and then Factory Reset your device. Doing this, will delete all your App Data, Messages, Files etc etc . But you will continue to remain on Lollipop 5.0.

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2015Please when do we expect lollipop update in nigeria?Where can u get the 32gb/3gb ram in nigeria!?..i hear lollipop will get to Nigeria before end of february..
Battery backup of LG phones is less compared to the Samsung phones. If you want, see the gsmarena endurance rating (in the DISPLAY, BATTERY LIFE, CONNECTIVITY section of each phone's review section) of the note 4, S5 and compare it with G3. I like everything in G3. But battery backup time is worst. Note 2 is best in terms of battery backup. I am not a samsung troll. See the ebdurance rating first before criticizing me.
