It does heat up after 30 mins of surfing but not overheated. I believe all hp will heat up a bit because of high resolution, bigger screen, 4 processors chip.
I buy g3 is because it has a 5.5 screen but the phone size does not look like 5.5 inch. Yes it is ergonomically design and most importantly, it fits well in ladies hands. Look at iphone plus 5.5 inch, it is taller, width slightly longer and heavier but it looks big and does not fit well in my hand when I hold it.
The intresting fact is D855 European model has VoLTE support. Glad to hear it and proud to got G3! Hope my country will support VoLTE ASAP. :)
Having scoured through the internet for reviews and opinions, i've come up with a mixed bag of people having Overheating issue and those who dont. I really like this device but cannot stick with one if overheating is really a cause of concern here (i know every phone does get warm so thats OK). If anyone has had this phone for few months, kindly give me your honest opinion.
P.S. The minor lag/stutter issue I believe goes away if Rutime is changed to ART, so i'm good with that.
KiM, 19 Sep 2014Many apps on PlayStore to have messages in Folders (Go SMS, SMS Folders...)None of then are reliable. I use EASY SMS (formerly PANSI SMS). But still it does not display all the SMS. That too sometimes the app changes the date and time of the received sms.
What I said that android does not have native support for folder messaging.

AnonD-308977, 18 Sep 2014Hi, I am looking to buy a new smartphone, but i am confused between Lg G3 & Lg G2 Which one... moreGood question.
The biggest thing that weighs in here is the screen size, i don´t know how much you are able to go on size so check it out and figure it out.
Second thing might be the price. I still believe strongly that the G2 is THE best secondhand buy you can do today. You can get it for dirt cheap second hand. Even brand new it cost half than the G3.
The G2 has plenty of power under the hood to take on Android updates for 2-3 years still.
The new Android that is due to launch soon is looking REAL promissing. KitKat was designed to use less hardware resources and could be installed on older phones. Even Nexus One from 4-5 years back can run KitKat. The new Android is even going more resource friendly. All in all, The G2 can endure the future with ease.
Again.. Screen plays the part on choosing. If not Money..
Vicky08, 18 Sep 2014Hey guys, i am getting screen on time of 3hr 26min with 35 % battery remaining so is it good? ... moreThat is decent enough. Can push it over 4 hours since you have 35% still. Just wish LG wasnt such a hack and not giving devs Bootloader access. I guess with a good custom-ROM, this phone could push some real awesome battery statistics.
